Turkish giants Fenerbahce are keen to sign veteran defender Matteo Darmian from Inter Milan this summer.
This according to Turkish broadcaster Ekol TV, via FCInterNews. They report that Fenerbahce Technical Director Devin Ozek is currently in Italy where he is looking to negotiate the move.
Matteo Darmian has come to the end of his fifth season at Inter Milan.
The 35-year-old is under contract with the Nerazzurri until the end of June 2026.
And Inter are hardly in a rush to offload Darmian. He remains a reliable player, and has the versatility to fill in across a few positions.
However, at the same time, Darmian’s time as a starter looks to be over. Inter have signed Luis Henrique as additional cover on the right flank, his favoured position.

And in the meantime, Turkish broadcaster Ekol TV report, there is transfer interest in Darmian.
Istanbul giants Fenerbahce have been unable to agree a new contract with right-back Bright Osayi-Samuel.
Therefore, the Turkish runners-up are in search of a replacement for the Nigerian.
And according to Ekol TV, Matteo Darmian is top of the list of potential replacements.
The broadcaster report that Fenerbahce Technical Director Devin Ozek is currently in Italy, along with club President Ali Koc.
Ekol RV report that Ozek is looking to quickly work out a deal to sign Matteo Darmian.
And in the meantime, Fenerbahce’s city rivals Galatasaray reportedly want to sign Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu.
Just sell Darmian to Fenerbache with a good price, so the money can be invested to a more young talented one, or even give the position to the primavera players
what money? he’s old and will not worth that much. keep him as backup unti his contact runs out as he’s still useful for his experience to our younger players
he was very bad this season, let him go but without golden handshake!!!!
