Inter Milan star Davide Frattesi prefers to stay in Serie A over a potential transfer to Atletico Madrid or Man Utd.
Per Sky Sport Ch via FCInter1908, the 25-year-old midfielder has no intention of leaving his home country whatsoever.
Despite Roma’s valid attempt to secure Frattesi’s signature in January, former Inter boss Simone Inzaghi blocked the sale.
However, little has changed for the former Sassuolo ace in terms of status at the San Siro.
Indeed, he remains behind Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the pecking order.
Therefore, he has already instructed his representatives to find him a new club.
Inter Milan Midfielder Davide Frattesi Unwilling to Join Man Utd

Frattesi hasn’t been a regular starter at the San Siro, though Cristian Chivu’s arrival could flip the script.
Yet, the in-demand midfielder is eager to avoid another uncertain campaign.
As such, his agents have set the wheels in motion to secure a move that would guarantee him more consistent playing time.
Serie A remains Frattesi’s first choice despite Man Utd’s advances.
Meanwhile, Napoli are the front-runners in the race to sign the Inter outcast.
However, watch out for Lazio, who could get Frattesi in exchange for Nicolo Rovella.
We need to give Chivu a season to build upon young players and to improve himself so he can grew to be a name we deserve. For this season realistic expectations should be top 3 positions in serie A, quarter finals of Champions league, and to win either coppa or super cup.
Goalkeepers: as 3rd choice leave Di Gennaro until his retirement or find some else Inter academy goalkeeper. As 2nd choice sell Martinez to recoup what was paid for him or maybe even earn a little, as he will never be our first choice. Instead of him buy an Italian gk as backup (Leali, Scuffet, Falcone, Montipo). Sommer is good for another season, wait and see if Donnarumma extends his contract with psg, if not top 1st choice as starter. If we can’t get him, then the choice will be between Carnesecchi (beside Gigi, the only Italian who is good enough to be starter), Stankovic(if he continues to improve as he did at Venezia), Petrovic or Svilar who were top 2 goalkeepers of italian and french leagues.
Centrebacks; Acerbi old, de Vrij 1 more season, Bastoni and Augusto are secure, same as Pavard. I would keep Bisseck also, if he can improve upon his concentration in defence, and board decides not to sell him, we got centreback for next 7-8 years. Besides them i would go for Bertola (free, send him on loan at mid-table club then reinstate him as future pillar if he improves as expected), considering the board won’t spend much money this summer we need 1 solid player, maybe 2 if Bisseck leaves. Scalvini would be dream signing, but too expensive. Mosquera, Gila and Beukema would be good choices but each of them will cost around 25-30milion euros. Cheaper and more probable solutions would be Bijol or Solet. I would maybe go even for Pirola (cheapest solution, Inter graduate, in 2 years will probably be our 3rd most valuable centreback).
Right side: We have Dumfries and Henrique, sell Darmian. If we can transition from 3-5-2 to 4-3-2-1 sometimes, so Henrique can move to right winger, then we need backup right back, best choices would be Bellanova or Zanotti (who had excellent season at Lugano, also our graduate).
Left side: Dimarco (had a solid season, except towards end, must improve in defence, but among top 3 attacking left wingbacks), Zalewski is good rotation player who can cover more positions. Augusto can also play sometime as left back, and he is much better than Dimarco at defending. Tyrick Mitchell will be free so he can be a good option if board wants to make some changes at left side.
Midfield: The most change is needed here. Barella stays, the rest are up to debate. Hakan can leave if we get 40mil offer, and if we can get good enough playmaker to replace him with. Zielinski could also stay, but he’s got too much problems with injuries, Frattesi can stay if Chivu can properly utilise him, in attack he is good, but at defence is a liability. Henrikh is up for retirement, and Asllani 0 growth since he came, 20-25 mil and sell him to whoever wants him. Beside Sucic who came ( and i think he will show to be a good purchase), we should let Carboni and Stankovic into first team, we won’t find more talented youngsters who we can purchase. Besides them i would go for both Fabbian and Casadei (both in my opinion had better seasons than Ricci or Rovella, academy players, would be much cheaper also). Paz would be a dream signing, but same as Scalvini unrealistic.
Forwards: Lautaro and Thuram stays, we can’t afford better players. Because both have low periods of season we need our 3rd choice to give them competition and motivation to be always at their best. J. David is in my opinion best choice for that, although he requires higher wage and agent fees he will be worth it. Give him release clause to be around 70 mil, he will sign for us, in a year time some english club can easily buy him, by then Pio Esposito will have hopefully 1 good season in some Italian club as loaned player. Leave older Esposito as 4th choice, so we can spend somewhere else, should be more reliable backup than either of our 3 reservists.
wow, read all and everything make sense. its a shame, i follow inter news all day but doesnt even recognize most, if not all of our academy players. thanks man, really good insight!
Frattesi should be deployed as AM. He should rotate with Carboni, who is a talent with a lot of potential. Pio Esposito should be rotation option to Lautaro and Thuram until he gains experience and becomes starting material.
Buy Jashari. With him, Sucic and Barella we could have a strong midfield for years to come.
