New signings Petar Sucic and Luis Henrique could make their Inter Milan debuts against CF Monterrey later tonight.
Per Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, both players are firmly in contention for a place in the starting XI.
Cristian Chivu will be without several first-team stars for Inter’s opening FIFA World Cup outing.
Indeed, Hakan Calhanoglu, Yann Bisseck, Francesco Pio Esposito, and Piotr Zielinski are unavailable for selection.
Furthermore, fatigue may force Davide Frattesi to stay on the sidelines.
Petar Sucic & Luis Henrique Set to Start for Inter Milan vs Monterrey

With Calhanoglu out of the squad, the burden of creativity could fall on Sucic.
Considered among Europe’s most exciting midfield prospects, the 21-year-old can cover numerous roles in the engine room.
However, his first appearance in the Nerazzurri shirt could see him occupy a more conservative position.
Indeed, he’s the front-runner to start ahead of Kristjan Asllani.
Meanwhile, Luis Henrique could take Denzel Dumfries’ place on the right wing.
Signed from Olympique Marseille, Henrique can operate on both flanks.
Yet, he will likely stick to the right side for the time being.
What I do find strange (especially as this isn’t the first time) is that Frattesi- a player upset with his lack of playing time- is suffering from fatigue…. fatigue from what?? if he’s decided that he wants to leave no matter what, then fair enough, but I would have thought that Frattesi would be raring to go, and show Chivu that he can be a valuable member of the team?!?
Outside of that, disappointing that Pio Esposito isn’t fit, but really hoping that Sucic and Henrique start…. Will be Somewhat deflating to see Miki and Darmian starting… enough is enough- time for a new era!!!
