Al-Hilal coach Simone Inzaghi claims that he decided to leave Inter Milan to “get out of his comfort zone.”

Inter Milan parted ways with coach Simone Inzaghi at the start of this month.
The 49-year-old’s exit was not without controversy. He left the Nerazzurri to join Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League, for a far superior financial offer.
And there were reports of negotiations between Inzaghi and Al-Hilal for a number of weeks before he actually made the move official.
The timing of Inzaghi’s exit made things particularly difficult.
The former Lazio coach had been guiding Inter through an end to the season which saw them competing on all fronts.
However, the Nerazzurri ended up losing out on all of the Coppa Italia, the Serie A title, and the Champions League.
Al-Hilal Coach Simone Inzaghi: “Left Inter To Get Out Of My Comfort Zone”

Former Inter coach Simone Inzaghi commented that “last season Jorge Jesus was the coach of Al-Hilal.”
“And the team had great players.”
“I accepted the challenge,” continued the 49-year-old. And got out of my comfort zone after several years at Inter.”
“I wanted to change my way of thinking,” said Inzaghi. “My style of play, and to try new things.”
“There was no other team that I would have liked to have coached. So I chose Al-Hilal.”
Meanwhile, Inzaghi stated that Al-Hilal “have passion and self-belief.”
“We’re playing against Real Madrid. And we know that it’ll be a very tough match. But we’re ready for the challenge.”
Scumbag!!
Translation
“ I negotiated an oil tycoons contract behind my clubs back and took advantage of all the confidence and opportunities they gave me”
You should be honest mister. There’ll be more dignity in it
What a load of BS!!!!!!
You went for the money – just be bloody honest…
No-one dreams of moving to a country where the price had a journo cut up into little pieces because he wrote bad things about him, or a country that cuts people’s heads off and flies’ planes into buildings.
You went for the massive payday and that reason only – or you would have gone to an American or German club etc….
You should have said this.
“I’m leaving Inter, because I have accepted a massive life changing contract earning me millions very quickly so I can set my family up for generations”
Also,
I hope Real Madrid beat you 5-0
WOW massive BS
Just like Carlos Tevez when he moved to Chinese club, He said he did that for money because his family needed that. Inzaghi should’ve done the same.
Like Inzaghi gives a damn what a nobody like you thinks.
Yea i dont care if you leave for money or challenge. Just be honest when you are leaving instead of being a cunt and putting your “former” team under the bus last minute.
