Parma have set the asking price at €25 million for Inter Milan target Giovanni Leoni.
This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Ginaluca Di Marzio. He reported on air, via FCInterNews, that the Gialloblu have made it very clear in negotiations with Inter that the 18-year-old won’t go for cheap.
Inter Milan have set their sights on teenage defender Giovanni Leoni.
Having already pursued Leoni last summer before he joined Parma, the Nerazzurri have made the 18-year-old one of their main targets in defense this time around.
The arrival of Cristian Chivu as Inter coach has particularly shifted the balance. The Romanian worked very well with Leoni in his spell as Parma coach.
Di Marzio – Parma Want €25M For Inter Target Giovanni Leoni

Inter Milan have been ramping up their pursuit of Leoni.
Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Nerazzurri have asked Parma directly about the teenage defender.
The Emilian club could sell Leoni this summer. However, they certainly are not going to do so for any lowball offers.
Di Marzio reports that Parma have informed Inter that they would expect a fee of at least €25 million to sell Giovanni Leoni.
Same player inter had the opportunity to have signed for 5m last summer but due to Inzaghi insistence on older players we allowed Parma to snatch him and now inter is pleading for discount at 25m, am happy oaktree has emphatically stated they will not buying buying older players anymore if now Luca modric would have been signed before Milan signed him
Diego coppola sold to Brighton for 10M and this guy is what for 25M??
Always trying to robb us and make a dent in our transfer capabilities making it hard to get more players in the same transfer window!!
€25 million is a reasonable price for a player with his potential, and I’m sure that we could get him for 20, if we just stop dicking around…. As for Coppolla, the fact that he was allowed to leave serie A for €10 million just goes to show how stupid we are in the market… along with every other top 8 serie A club, who should have all been scrambling to bring him in….
