Inter Milan will sign striker Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma in a transfer worth around €25 million.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the move is now a done deal, with just a couple details to finalize.
Inter Milan are now rapidly approaching the closing stage of negotiations with Parma for striker Ange-Yoan Bonny.
The Nerazzurri’s interest in the 21-year-old is certainly no secret.
Inter had already been targeting him before appointing Cristian Chivu as coach – and the Romanian has further pushed them towards a deal.
Inter see Bonny as an ideal player to follow in the footsteps of Marcus Thuram.
Done Deal – Inter Will Sign Ange-Yoan Bonny From Parma

According to the Gazzetta, Inter’s move Parma can now be considered a done deal.
Napoli had made a late attempt to see if they could hijack the deal. But there is nothing doing there – Inter have already sealed the deal.
The Gazzetta confirm that Ange-Yoan Bonny himself is very keen on joining Inter.
Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri have been negotiating with Parma for some time. And the clubs have come to an agreement.
The Gazzetta report that the fee will be somewhere been €23-25 million. Inter’s idea would be to reach €25 million with add-ons – Parma, on the other hand, want that amount before add-ons.
Then, Inter could send striker Sebastiano Esposito to Parma as part of the deal, lowering the cash fee.
On that front, everything would depend on whether new Gialloblu coach Carlos Cuesta rates Esposito.
Then, Inter and Parma will work out the exact formula of the deal. It could still be a season-long loan deal containing a purchase obligation.
With the arrival of this attacker, Inter only need to sell players who are no longer performing such as, Thuram, Dimarco and Aslani.
i would let thuram go and cash in on 80 mil
Who would pay for him?
Why on earth would you think Thuram is a suitable option to sell, especially when we need our top stars the most in this long and difficult season ahead?
And who will pay you 80m for Thuram? The transfer value of inter players has plunged in the last 2months, inter will be lucky to get 15 m for dimarco with his current form.
Let’s see if he can prove us wrong. I want him to score goals. I dont really care. If he can be useful. I am happy with this signing.
If the deal is done, than sell older Esposito, loan younger as a starter somewhere and go full force for J. David. Because we need someone who can fight for starting place and from who we can expect 25+ g+a per season. Bonny ain’t that yet, Pio is also not that yet
To be honest if we don’t give them a chance now we will never give them a chance, I say give Pio, Bonny and Carboni a chance. We wanted to make the team younger and we have a coach familiar with them, it takes courage playing younger players but you don’t know until you try.
Well I’m assuming this guy will be a good understudy to Thuram, and help take some minutes off his hand when he gets injured.
So Napoli steal hojlund and we get this useless waste of a squad number…
The lack of ambition at this club is demoralising
We NEED to give Esposito, Carboni etc the reigns if we’re not going to invest.
I get that oaktree never really wanted the club and I agree with changing tact from having 37yr olds on high wages.
But this weird no mans land of spending 20m on complete wasters and letting your promising talent leave for even less is just pure madness!!!
Yeah, buying Bonny when you have Pio Esposito is crazy. Bonny is raw and needs to learn; we better give that space to our own academy talent to learn.
Bonny is fast, Pio is slower but stronger. both different sets of skills. they can both be useful for us.
they different type of striker, pio is finisher and bonny capable of making chances. they can complete each other if playing together.
Bit harsh! Bonny definitely has potential, and obviously has worked with Chivu before…. Personally, I’ll be doing cartwheels if Napoli ‘steal’ Hoijlund from us!!
Hojland’s best season consists of 10 serie A goals. He wasn’t worth the money when United paid for him. And he’s not worth what Napoli are paying for him now. My only interest stemmed from the fact that we always make former united players better, but glad we didn’t spend this kind of money on him to be honest.
remember lukaku wasn’t worth his price then that n came to inter, had one season wonder and boom
the problem is that Carboni is an AMF, not a striker. He is like Sanchez or Ftattesi. We need good finishers like Thuram, Toro, Icardi, Etoo, and so on,
Inter needs two good striker this season, not just one.
