Inter Milan have officially completed the signing of Nicola Zalewski on a permanent basis from Roma.

The Nerazzurri have officially announced the signing, via FCInterNews. They have signed the 23-year-old for a fee of around €6 million.

Wingback Nicola Zalewski joined Inter Milan on loan during the January transfer window.

The Nerazzurri brought the Polish international in following the departure of Tajon Buchanan.

Zalewski’s loan only ran until the end of the season. However, it also contained a purchase option, worth around €6 million.

Nicola Zalewski had his ups and downs over the course of his first half season at Inter.

However, the overall trajectory has been a positive one for the Polish international.

Zalewski’s versatile came in handy over the second half of the season. He played at left-wingback, right-wingback, and in attacking midfield under Simone Inzaghi.

And the early signs are that new Nerazzurri coach Cristian Chivu also envisions a similarly versatile role for Zalewski.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri have made Zalewski’s move from Rome permanently.

The club just officially announced that they have signed the Pole permanently starting with the upcoming season.
