Serie A giants Inter Milan have reportedly decided against re-signing Bologna talent Giovanni Fabbian.
Per Stadio via FCInterNews, they’ve opted not to trigger the buyback clause inserted in the deal struck in 2023.
Inter sold Giovanni Fabbian to Bologna two years ago.
Furthermore, they shrewdly included a €12 million buyback clause in the agreement.
However, little did anyone know the Nerazzurri would decide not to take it two years later.
Inter Milan Refuse to Re-Sign Giovanni Fabbian from Bologna

Bologna spent a meager €5m to sign the 22-year-old.
Therefore, sporting director Giovanni Sartori completed a masterclass deal, signing the highly-rated youngster on favorable terms.
Despite Fabbian’s rise to prominence at Renato Dall’Ara, he won’t return to the San Siro.
As a result, Vincenzo Italiano doesn’t need to intervene in the market for reinforcements.
Inter’s decision perhaps stems from their trust in Petar Sucic.
Indeed, the Croatian talent completed his arrival from Dinamo Zagreb earlier in June.
Moreover, he is already in the United States with the rest of the team fighting for FIFA Club World Cup glory.
Honestly there is a monster of a midfielder at Monza we should get.
6′ 3″, duel footed, very fast, technically world class. Has a great range of passing and his vision is only second to Xavi I reckon.
His engine is on par with Barella.
But it’s his attacking prowess that is impressive. He pops up scoring all manner of goals from long range screamers to diving headers. He’s class.
World class, and he’s over 30 so that’s what we like, not to mention hardly played last year because he is injury prone.
Check out his highlights on YouTube.
search Roberto Gagliardini the GOAT.
The only one who is currently inter starter material is Barrela. Hakan, Zielinski injury prone now, career is going downard. Henrikh up for retirement, Asllani has shown he ain’t Inter material, and for Sucic too early to tell. Frattesi and Carboni are both AM position, and i think we are covered at that position if they both stay. So sell Asslani, release Henrikh, and find replacement for either Hakan or Zielinski so we can sell one of them
“Despite Fabbian’s rise to prominence at Renato Dall’Ara”
Last season in Serie A he started only in 9 games. He is a bench player at Bologna.
Fabbian clearly is not Inter material; he is mid-table level.
well our midfield is stacked , we have a mighty supernatural Asslani !!!!
u are the only person who see he’s worth
he is a creative player not defensive player
