Inter Milan reportedly no longer consider Hakan Calhanoglu ‘untouchable,’ which could facilitate his transfer to Galatasaray.
Per Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the 31-year-old is no longer central to Cristian Chivu’s project at the San Siro.
Calhanoglu’s future has been among major talking points this summer.
Indeed, the Turkish midfielder has emerged as Galatasaray’s top target after Simone Inzaghi’s departure.
Hakan Calhanoglu was indispensable under the former manager, but things could change now that Chivu is in charge.

Sell Hakan and Mhiki and get a defensive midfielder while having Susic in LM position. Now the question is do we go for Nico while we have Fratessi who won’t want to be a sub any longer or do we stick with Fratessi and see his real potential under Chivu.
Mkhitaryan will retire at the end of his contract (end of next season). He has been great for Inter and yesterday he demonstrated that he still has it. He played the entire game and was still running hard. Why should we get rid of Mkhitaryan? I’m not saying that he should be a starter, but he can still be an important part of the team.
Indeed, Mikhi can serve as a rotation option when veteran experience is needed. That way IMO he can play for 2 years until Stankovic or another youngster is ready to step in.
I believe it’s been reported that he’ll retire at the end of his contract with Inter, in 2026.
We already have Barella who can be a leader in midfield. I’d rather see him go and have youth players like Topalovic as a sub
I don’t get why we aren’t going for players from Dutch league, like Taylor from Ajax, solid midfielder, would be an upgrade over Asllani. Steijn who had almost 40 g+a as AM went for 10 mil, and we are buying Bonny who scored 6 goals i think for 25mil
Either buy a capable younger midfielder, like Ederson or Jashari, or don’t bother. Rovella and da Cunha are mid-table level.
ederson is pushing 26 he isnt exactly young and 70mil isnt worth it. Also Jashari wants to join AC Milan soo… Rovella is perfect and da cumha is nowhere near rocellas level
26-27 is a very good age. The issue ofc is the price. Jashari would be a potent addition and I doubt he would choose Milan over Inter.
Rovella is overhyped in Italian media. And Lazio want 50 mln anyway.
In the end Jashari is the option to choose.

Nico Paz has made it clear he wants to return to RM. He would be a great addition though.
