Hakan Calhanoglu has asked Inter Milan to negotiate a sale to Galatasaray
According to reports from Turkish media, via FCInter1908, the 31-year-old midfielder has requested that the Nerazzurri lower their asking price so that the move can happen.
Hakan Calhanoglu has been at the centre of a lot of speculation over the last few weeks.
The 31-year-old is reportedly a target for Turkish champions Galatasaray.
There is talk of the Istanbul giants having already sounded out a move with Calhanoglu’s representatives.
Then, there would of course be the question of Inter’s demands on a fee.
Reportedly, the Nerazzurri want at least €30-35 million to sell Calhanoglu. And that would be higher than Galatasaray want to pay for the former AC Milan midfielder.
Hakan Calhanoglu Asks Inter To Negotiate Sale To Galatasaray

According to reports from Turkish media, however, Calhanoglu has gone to the Inter hierarchy.
The 31-year-old has expressed his desire to join Galatasaray. And he has asked that the Nerazzurri be willing to negotiate with the Istanbul-based club.
The reports claim that Hakan Calhanoglu has reminded Inter that he signed on a free transfer four years ago.
Therefore, the Turkish international wants Inter to meet Galatasaray halfway.
If the Nerazzurri were to lower their asking price somewhat, it would put a deal within reach.
Accept offers 25-30mil. If he wants to leave, good luck to him.
I would get even 25 mln. Hakan is in decline due to fitness issues. We need money to buy a new, fresh and reliable midfielder.
Happy to let him go but we should not let him go for less than 40mil because he is still a world class player. He made 8 assists with 11 goals last season for all tournaments.
No club in Europe will pay 40m for hakan and even Saudi will not pay that. We can be realistic and except at least 25m with bonus and call it a day.
90% of those coming from set-pieces, which is one of the few things that haven’t regressed in his game
given how we play in CWC with Calhanoglu so far… i think we really have a good chance to rejuvenate our midfield; if he leaves this summer, and Mkhi hangs up his boot next summer.
Barella is 28 and would be in his prime for a couple more years. But would be unrealistic to be running box to box all season long.
