The 22-year-old’s loan with Empoli ended at the end of last season. And following relegation from Serie A, the Tuscan club did not exercise their purchase option in the player.
Esposito was actually in the Inter starting eleven in Club World Cup group stage matches against Monterrey and Urawa Red Diamonds.

One thing that looks abundantly clear, however, is that Sebastiano Esposito’s future is not at Inter.
The young striker has had numerous loans over the last four seasons.
A few clubs have shown an interest in signing Esposito.
However, it looks to be Fiorentina who are leading the race for the 22-year-old.
And according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have given the green light for the move to happen. They are now negotiating with La Viola on the fee for Esposito.
The newspaper anticipate that the deal will be worth somewhere between €7-10 million in the end.
We spent 6M to buy Arnautovic and 27M on Correa as a back ups, Wasted money. this guy is better than both. If we’re not going to have Taremi as well we need to keep both Espositos and Bonny as our backup 3. Gonna be stupid to sell sebastiano then go buy another useless striker for the same amount or more. If all we can get is 7M we should just keep him and let him back up our strikers. We need five forwards, if the kid is willing to fight for a spot like his brother he should be allowed to stay. 7m-10m is useless because we will spend more to replace him.
esposito is troublemaker, let him go -10mlns is enough , he will be able to negotiate with anyone after 6 months, so better take something than nothing
Parma got 25 mil from us for a year younger guy i think, with less goals than Sebastiano, and we can’t get even 10 mil. Ffs, Marotta really doesn’t know how to sell players
you know nothing and just jumped into the comment section with stupid conclusion. I’d add another fact the others didn’t state that’s Marotta is no longer fully responsible for negotiating.
use the internet to educate yourself and don’t be like a caveman with technology
Really, you’re gonna tell me Marotta doesn’t give the green light on the selliing. In the last 7 years since he came the only good money we got by selling is from Onana (best gk in Champions league that season), Lukaku, Hakimi and Icardi. There were some ok sales, but majority went for either cheap dirt or on free. Don’t get me wrong, he was magician in bringing low cost solid players, but sales isn’t his best side
Non so chi fosse o cosa dicesse.

Sebastiano is in his last year of contract, and valued much less than Bonny (see Transfermarkt for example).
and how much you expect for a player of esposito caliber who has one year left in contract?
30 mil?
He’s supposed to have attitude problems hence the price tag.
Bonny’s contract expires in 2 years, so, is that enough for a difference of 15 mil
yes it is
just look at theo hernandez ,milan only expect 30 mil from his sales while his market price is probably twice from that
