Inter Milan will have to finance new signings with sales after investing over €60 million into the transfer market so far this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan are now reportedly on the verge of their third signing of the summer.
The Nerazzurri will soon complete a deal for Parma striker Ange-Yoan Bonny.
The Frenchman will follow the likes of Petar Sucic and Luis Henrique in the door.
Inter Milan Must Finance Signings With Sales After Spending €60M

The deal for Bonny will be worth around €26 million including add-ons.
That is in addition to the roughly €40 million that Inter have already spent on Sucic and Henrique.
So far, Inter have not made any major sales this summer. Rather, Nerazzurri owners Oaktree Capital have been willing to sanction the deals with the budgetary surplus the club has.
However, Inter cannot spend money forever without cash coming in the other direction.
And according to the Corriere, this marks the end of the road for Inter’s most ambitious spending.
The Nerazzurri will have to start bringing in transfer fees in order to finance any future business that they do from now until the end of the transfer window.
Not great news, but hardly surprising…. saw this coming when Oaktree used €100 million of Inters money to pay off the bond….
If Hakan wants to leave, so be it… injuries are getting the better of him… Chivu should be able to decide on the future of the likes of Frattesi and Bisseck…
Fringe players with value would be Sebastiano Esposito, Tajon and Stankovic…
Then personally, I’d be looking to sell Asllani, see if we can get anything for Zielinski and Taremi (1 euro would be enough for Taremi) and save wages by releasing Darmian, Acerbi and Miki (Thank you for your service, but time catches up with everyone)….
Of we can get Leoni or Solet, and a couple of midfielders- 1 DCM, and 1 AM, then I’d be happy enough with that….
I’d prefer keeping mikhi and darmian… they can be useful along the competition and not prone to injury. Maybe Acerbi too….
Sell Taremi, Hakan, Asllani, Tajon and maybe Zielinski (if anyone offers something for him). Frattesi and Bisseck can go if right offers come in.
For Esposito and Stankovic, i’d like they get a chance to playfor us before Chivu decide wether to keep or sell them
sell Fratessi, Asllani, Hakan, Acerbi and Taremi.
Buy Rovella, Paz or Soule and Leoni and get Piccoli as rotation striker.
So Inter would be.
GK
Sommer + Martinez
DEF
Pavard, Bisseck, De Vrij, Darmian, DiMarco, Augusto, Bastoni, LEONI, Henrique, Palacios, Drumfies.
MID
Barella, Sucic, Mkhi, Zielinski, ROVELLA, Carboni, SOULE/PAZ.
ATK
Thuram, Martinez, Pio, Bonny, PICCOLI
:)))) how can we sell Acerbi? :))) do you know that the guy is 37 and doesn’t have any value???
he’s a moron, a caveman with technology
this is assuming 3-5-2.. not gonna work if Chivu opts for 3-4-2-1.
Piccoli not be joining and instead, inter could opt for another CM or DCL.
(not sure where Leoni plays though)
Don’t sell Hakan
I would like to point out that Susic is a transfer from last season not this season. So lets not make it look like Inter did a massive investment already this season. We only had Henrique and now we are just getting Bonny. Im not saying Inter is not doing well but lets just get things straight with facts only.
Sucic is a transfer of this summer mercato window, not a transfer of last season. Yes, it was agreed last season with Dinamo Zagreb, but the transfer and payment were done this summer.
You should tell that to Bruno, and the low IQ who supports his message, Bruno is so delusional he defends Oalktree as if he was working for them!
Who is bruno my friend?
Then we should keep Hakan and Zielinski, and sell Asllani. Only buy a quality CB. Next summer we can buy a quality midfielder to replace Hakan or Mikhi. Maybe Stankovic becomes ready and we move on from all of Hakan, Mikhi and Zielinski then.
