When you start the exact same players that doesnt offer anything, doesnt show progress this is the result. I dont know if the coach is being stubborn or just blind to see what the problem is.
HAHAHAHAHA
I’m gonna be honest I wasn’t expecting us to win, we drew a Mexican team, we barely beat urawa (in extra time) and we beat River after they got a red card so it was obvious we were struggling.
We need to rest yes but we also have to understand the problems.
I love Chivu but he has only had about 12 games as a senior coach, that’s not enough to gain experience and learn… not when you have to coach a team who have big goals to achieve.
The pressure might get to him and the signings we got so far are below average, they won’t raise our level. So what if we got the squad age down if the quality got worse?
We all need a break from a long season and then come back fresh with ideas and a clear plan. Forzaaa
Nothing like coach’s experience needed here… The squad is weak and his tactics are weak… As for tiredness, other teams hardly complain of tiredness, ONLY ITALIAN SIDES… That’s why they make up excuses not to pursue multiple trophies of late… Ooh well, inter is out… Back to the drawing board (if they like)
psg played as many matches as inter (62 matches) yet they are on the verge of winning another title. inter is simply rubbish. Of course some losers here will be attacking my message. They know themselves. They are cowards,
Don’t mind them… When they attack me, I will silence them by saying “RESULTS NEVER LIE”
they are tired because they are old.
Lol… I believe they are lazy… Serie a has very low intensity. I’m glad some people here have seen things the way they truly are.
Its the italian football that is the problem. Focusing on tactics rather than ball control and teamwork lead to this. They have to work on their teqniques on the ball. I see Real madrid training videos and its all I see is working with the ball. When I go see Inter milan training its mostly just physical training and little passing drills.
Marotta has done his best is time for him to leave he is making too much mistakes and is affecting the team.
the players just want to rest. the mentality break down is something else at last season. this will make them getting the rest they needed to be fresh next season. (i hope)
The players are lazy… Coaches in serie a don’t seem to actually train their players, that’s why they often use tiredness as an excuse. I played football when I was younger and I did so almost everyday “11 a-side” for 90 minutes + and I combined this with my studies and I was never tired… So you guys should spare me the excuses… These guys are being hugely paid for “playing” which should be pleasurable…
Seems I’m in the minority who has faith in Chivu on here lol… guys this tournament is more or less a tactical testing ground. These games will be used to fit certain players in which roles and to see where certain players are at tactically. Remember this was more preseason than anything else, regardless of what they say about the season not being over. The season is over. This competition for now is similar to the Champions cup which we have been playing over the seasons.
I don’t judge Chivu. He has been at Inter for less than a month, took a team mentally shocked by the UCL final, and immediately had to play official games.
I will judge him next season, after he has had a pre-season with the players to adapt them to his ideas.
Blaming Chivu for a team he had no voice in building is extremely naive.
I support the coach. Inter has shown a play style that has been dominant for the most part but for poor finishing (not a coaches fault who has been in charge only a couple of weeks).
Watching Inter has been like watching positive football from the 90s and early 2000s. Great to watch players not moving like robots in a methodical way.
I agree with all the points made on this thread. It’s a shame I can’t thumbs up you guys but I definitely agree 100%
He gave no youngster apart from Pio Esposito a chance and that’s because Thuram was unfit. The moment he got fit, boom he starts immediately… Like I keep saying, facts and results never lie
All goals were conceded from the side of the loser Di Marco. Why cannot they put him up for sale?
Antonio Cassano – you aren’t tricking any of us fans here. We know it’s you using Davide as a fake account.
Lmao
Chivu cannot start as a coach at Calcio. This World Cup showed that he is not qualified to coach Inter. He is nothing more than an intern. It is high time they looked for a coach outside Italy. And this L. Henrique was money thrown away. Marotta has been making a lot of mistakes lately.
OaktTree OUT
Marotta OUT
it’s easy to see the problems, but never easy to find solutions.
no Oaktree, no Marotta, no Chivu, no Zanetti, no to half of the team.
the old gun can’t keep up anymore. defend let us down. we need young cb.
Team showed that we can’t do much without Chalhanoglu – I hope they keep him to stay competitive next season
He is injured. What you wanna do?
Thank goodness we lost.
About time. Now give everyone a four week holiday. No pointless friendlies. Just rest.
70% of all our losses this year come down to completely nackered players needing rest.
they are very old players, the next season will be the same. when they get towards the end they will be cooked because they cannot sustain it.
Even the younger players are lazy… We need a Spanish type coach..
Chivu better start working on some on ball trainings. Inters been too heavily reliant on tactics that its so boring to watch. When can we see some good attractive football. How long are we going to rely on off the ball tactics.
Well guys, lets see the positive here.
We got a sneak peak on Sucic, Pio, Carboni and Henrique.
So now it remains to see if Chivu will be able to clean up before the next season.
Maybe Marotta will bring in something in this transfer window that will elevate this team a little.
I guess Hakan will leave, and honestly I would no be sad if we sold Thuram either for some money…
We are definitely in need of some new CBs.
Positives looking forward…. Sucic and Pio…. Negatives…. everything else!!!
Carboni too did well and showed he is ready to play for Inter. First vs weak teams, gradually vs stronger ones. Don’t forget that he is just 20 and returning from a serious injury.
Agreed
It’s a worrying time, like genuinely,
Let’s hope someone sees this and works out more quality is needed
Half of serie A win that game today, they were not very good.
Susic should have and I bet will start from here going forward. He made the difference by simply dribbling through their forward line and forcing their midfield to break structure.
That is something asllani seems unable to do.
I think that starting Thuram and Asllani damaged us a lot. Thuram had fitness issues and had not recovered fully, Asllani was like playing with 10 players.
Spending money on Bonny was a mistake. Sebastiano would be enough as a 4th striker. I like Carboni, he has a lot of potential and showed he can play as a winger too.
We need serious investment in the CB position, hence buying a striker before sorting out the CB was a naive mistake.
It is good that we got knocked out. I was concerned that MC would thrash and humiliate us.
Me too. Man City are hungry and Inter are not looking to prove anything yet with a new coach who is lacking a lot of key players. He got a blessing in disguise that he now knows full well what some of his players can do unlike other new coaches and a humiliation from Man City would be devastating to the players confidence. I 100% think Morrata would actually be looking for replacement in case things don’t work out… The reality is Inter are not Parma and will not wait until the boat is too far deep underwater. Chivu must be brave and just go all out attack and try to win as early as possible where Inter are more dangerous because playing useless possession leads to stupid mistakes and goals. It’s all on Chivu at the moment and I wish him the best
