Real Madrid will not exercise their buyback clause on Como midfielder and major Inter Milan target Nico Paz.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that Los Blancos are ready to leave the Argentine at Como, unless another big offer comes in.
Inter Milan have been following midfielder Nico Paz closely for months now.
The 20-year-old was one of the outstanding players in Serie A last season. He well and truly hit the ground running in his first season at Como after arriving from Real Madrid.
Therefore, Inter have long viewed Paz as a dream signing.
It won’t be easy to make a deal for the Argentine international.
However, one of the major roadblocks to a possible deal looks to have disappeared, according to Sky Sport Italia.
Report – Real Madrid Won’t Exercise Buyback On Inter Target Nico Paz

According to Sky Sport Italia, Real Madrid’s buyback option on Nico Paz expires today.
That had always looked to be a major hurdle for Inter in their efforts to sign the 20-year-old.
For as long as the Spanish giants had the option to sign Paz back, they have had control of the player’s future. Therefore, negotiating a deal would be tricky for Inter.
But that buyback option expires today, the end of June. And according to Sky, Los Blancos are not inclined to take advantage of it.
Real Madrid will also have a buyback option on Paz active in the next two summers. However, for the remainder of this summer, they do not.
Accordingly, Sky report, Paz looks ready to stay at Como for another season.
However, that is only if another club does not come in and make the Lariani an offer for the Argentine.
And that could prove to be very tempting for Inter. Therefore, Sky anticipate, it is hardly impossible that the Nerazzurri could jump in and make their move.
Then we’re fucked lol como has go fck yourself money
The ONLY way we would get him is if RM suddenly decided to cash in OR they were given assurances from us about play time on a new loan, as it would get him UCL experience etc which would benefit them.
They could expect a fee from us for the loan to cover the buyback too.
But in those circumstances its a pointless move for us – we should give Carboni some actual minutes
Who is sucking these stories? If RM didnt buy him it means only one thing. There is an agreement that he stays at Como until RM buys him. Its also the best possible option for his carreer. Dont be naive to think he would come to Inter. Complete bs m
Complete bs media hype
are they too damn rich or something? madrid can easily paid 8 mil and sell him for 30mil.
RM does not want to sell him bc the plan for Paz is to join RM after a year or two. The idea that Inter can get Paz is a media creation.
Yea I was really confused about that. Can Inter buy Paz from Como or not? I heard Real activate the buyback clause in the next season transfer window or 9mil, but for now the 8mil buyback has expired and Inter can from Como.
“can activate
Paz has said that his dream is to play for RM, and RM has said that Paz is the future of the club. He stayed at Como to keep gaining experience without too much pressure, to become ready for RM.
if paz is the future, he will be playing for real madrid first team now.
see exhibit A – Arda Guler and exhibit B – Endrick.
not to mention real just bought Mastantuono.
Why does your article titles keep sending me to another website?
Paz should be our priority targer. This guy is a winner and will be playing WC for Argentina along with Messi and Lautaro (and probably Carboni).
