Midfielder Davide Frattesi reportedly does not want to leave Inter Milan this summer despite interest from Atletico Madrid.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews.
Davide Frattesi currently seems to have one foot out the door at Inter Milan, and one foot in.
On the one hand, the 25-year-old had already asked to leave Inter in January. This was due to a lack of playing time.
Then, with the situation hardly improving over the second half of the campaign, an exit seemed almost inevitable.
On the other hand, Simone Inzaghi has left as Inter coach. Therefore, Frattesi could have a more prominent role in the team under new coach Cristian Chivu.
Davide Frattesi Doesn’t Want To Leave Inter Despite Atletico Madrid Interest

According to SportMediaset, Frattesi is not inclined to leave after the change in coach.
Whilst Inzaghi was at the helm, it had seemed impossible for Frattesi to stay. Particularly considering the reported spat between the duo during the Champions League final.
But Chivu’s arrival as totally changed things.
Mediaset confirm that Atletico Madrid are targeting Davide Frattesi.
However, according to the broadcaster, the player himself has no intention of going anywhere. He wants to stay and fight for his place.,
he rarely played n got injured, what if he regularly plays?
im a big a fan of his attacking ability, he is smart, clinical, physical, but changing formation just because of him would be really crazy, with the emergence of PIO and arrival of bony, no way inter would change into 1 striker formation
they will still play with 352
some wants beautiful football
some wants results
but for me results is more important
its not that inter play completely a bad football
so fratessi you can stay if you want but if can also leave if you want since no guarantee you can be regular as your career is on the line
Read a blog saying that speculating on Frattesi becoming the new captain…
Joking? That would be a real 180
If Chivu wants to switch formations, and use a 3-4-2-1, or even a 4-2-3-1 at times, then Frattesi should easily get enough playing time! As we seem intent on loaning out Carboni, he is currently our only attacking midfielder, so this could finally be Frattesis season to shine!!
If Chivu wants to play direct with a higher press and vertical passes Frattesi will have a great year.
Thats actually a good news for us. Frattesi is a really good player. Look at how he played when he was at Sassuolo, he was insanely good as an attacking midfield. Get him full mintues consistently and he will show his old self or even better.
Agreed. Inzaghi wasted him by forcing him into the sideways passing midfield. He was a great sub because after 80 minutes of Inzaghi’s sideways passing we would get desperate and start playing vertical and Frattesi makes great forward runs and finishes better than our forwards
