Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu reportedly only wants a move to Galatasaray, and has rejected bids from the Premier League and Saudi Pro League.
This according to Turkish outlet Fanatik, via FCInterNews.
Galatasaray’s interest in Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has become virtually the worst-kept secret in football.
Whilst the Turkish champions have yet to directly approach Inter, they’ve made it clear behind the scenes.
Meanwhile, Calhanoglu himself is keen on the move, according to widespread reports in Turkish media.
Hakan Calhanoglu Only Wants Galatasaray – No To Premier League & Saudi Bids

Turkish outlet Fanatik report that there have been other offers for Calhanoglu.
These have included from clubs in the Premier League. And then, mega money offers from the Saudi Pro League, where Al-Hilal coach Simone Inzaghi is reportedly keen on a reunion.
However, reports Fanatik, Calhanoglu has turned down all of these offers.
The 31-year-old has made it clear that he wants to relocate with his family to Turkey and play for Galatasaray.
Therefore, Fanatik report, Calhanoglu has also told Inter that he wants the switch to Istanbul and will not consider other moves.
What an idiot
The rumours about Hakan are being pushed by the management. Hakan is 31 and has a high salary, and Oaktree wants to lower the salary bill and the average age of the team.
source: trust me bro
31yo, got contract until 2027 but Galatasaray wont pay more than 15M.. Damn.
We should be reasonable to the player on this one, to some degree.
Forcing him to stay without trying to meet Hakan’s wishes will backfire in the future, I suspect… Future transfer targets might be less willing to sign for us if we make it too hard for players to leave.
What about allowing him to leave more or less for free next summer, if he remains one more year?
Why would we let him leave for free next summer? Hes got contract until 2027. Thats why we should push for 30mil which is reasonable.
If it motivates him to stay one more year, which is preferable to me. He is too important. I did not say entirely free… His efforts and what he has given the team, if it is his wish to leave for his home country–if anyone deserves an exception to the hard negotiations, it is him!
Contracts? Well, I thought the law-world was into negotiating and finding compromises. A contract isn’t some Harry Potter thing, signed with blood.
Keep Hakan one more year and bolster the defense more heavily! If it was up to me…
Part of being a professional is doing your job even when you find it difficult. He signed a contract that guarantees him a lot of money. If inter suddenly felt like we weren’t happy could we force him to cancel his contract?
If he declines other fair offers and limits the market to one team and that team refuse to pay a fair price for our asset then he may just have to be a professional and see out his contract.
I think we should just keep him if Galatasary doesnt pay up since got him for free anyways.
why we should keep him if he doesnt want to stay and he will pretend he is injured half a season !
Because he has a contract and management cant just start giving away assets when a guy throws a fit. If guys want to start breaking their contracts whenever they don’t feel like honoring them anymore teams should stipulate that they can terminate a contract as well.
This whole thing about not keeping guys who are unhappy is such a terrible precedent. They are professionals and they signed their own contracts.
well said man! this should be carved into stone!
but here is the true, they are not professionals anymore, they are primadonnas. they are unhappy , they dont play, they just walk, they dont care, they will still collect they big salary
so we will loose money because he wants to leave only for Galatasaray and they dont want to pay more than 15mlns , same like we sold Sneijder to them for 8mlns …. so Galatasaray can pay 80mlns to keep Osimieh but he doesnt want to stay , but they cant pay 30mlns for Hakan….
Exactly
