Inter Milan have signed young French striker Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma on a five-year contract.
The Nerazzurri confirm the 21-year-old’s arrival in an announcement on their homepage.
Inter Milan have spent the past few weeks chasing striker Ange-Yoan Bonny.
The France Under-21 international emerged as a top target for the Nerazzurri in attack early on in the transfer window.
Furthermore, the arrival of Cristian Chivu as coach really solidified Inter’s interest in Bonny. The 44-year-old worked well with the Frenchman at Parma towards the end of last season.
Inter Milan Confirm Signing Of Ange-Yoan Bonny From Parma

Reportedly, Inter have been closing in on an agreement with Parma over the last couple weeks.
The Nerazzurri and the Gialloblu have reportedly negotiated a fee of around €25 million including add-ons. Inter do not officially announce the transfer fee, however.
Meanwhile, Inter announce that Ange-Yoan Bonny has signed a five-year contract until the end of June 2030.
The Nerazzurri do not announce the Frenchman’s wages. Reportedly he will earn around €2 million net per season, though.
Bonny’s move to Inter brings to an end a three-year spell with Parma.
The Emilian club signed the young striker from French lower league side Chatearoux in the summer of 2021. They were still in Serie B at that time.
After two attempts, Parma won promotion to Serie A with Bonny’s help.
And the Frenchman made the step up to the top flight well, helping the Gialloblu to avoid relegation.
Furthermore, Bonny’s performances impressed Inter to such a degree that they decided to sign him as part of their more youth-focused project this summer.
Bonny made 117 appearances for Parma across three seasons. He scored fifteen goals for the Emilian club.
25mil is a bit much but bonny is good
I think it’s a decent signing. Yes €25 mil is a bit high but just to put things into perspective we have spent €10M on a 33 year old Arnautovic 2 years ago.
I hope he does well.
Forza Inter!
I think he’s not inter material.
Some of you guys are funny. I bet most of you havent even seen him in action. Slow? if anything, its the opposite. Hes fast for being such a big and strong guy. And look at the introduction from the official homepage, ‘lighting fast’. 6 goals and 4 assists may not be the best numbers, but dont forget it was his first season in Serie A, so i would say its okey. Lautaro had the same amount of goals scored in his first, look now where he is. Im not saying that Bonny is going to be a guaranteed hit, but at least give guy a real chanse god damnit.
And we were after him even before Chivu was appointed. So get your facts right before spitting out some bullshit.

I remember in the past you saying we don’t use a formation that requires wingers (the ones with pace) . I’ve been advocating for years for players who have pace but that wasn’t an issue then and shouldn’t be an issue now, should it?
This comment is for Nerazzurri ninja. Can’t even delete smh. This comment is not meant to be a stand alone comment. The comments section on this site has become something else
I said that our wingbacks are as good or better than many wingers out there statistically, it remains true 11 goals and 5 assists for dumfries is an excellent statistic. Chivu nor Inter are looking for out and out wingers like you desire. They will be looking for players that can play both as a wingback or winger. I never said that I wouldn’t want speed, that is a made up comment, you like putting words in my mouth so continue.
Or trickery for that matter. I just said that we don’t need wingers, our wingbacks have been excellent statistically and our formation doesn’t allow wingers. With Chivu there will be more flexibility so maybe actual wingers will get a chance. But already they bought henrique who is a winger and they have only played him in wingback role.
With the 5-3-2-1 formation the 2 players behind the striker are able to be more wing oriented so we will see what happens with that.
Our conversation had nothing to do with pace or trickery. I said our wingbacks are our wingers. You are just trying to create an argument out of nothing if you think I would see a speedy or tricky player and think to myself, I would prefer slow and predictable. Then you should convince yourself otherwise. As things stand, the striking positions are the positions where it seems more likely to get that kind of player. Otherwise I doubt we’ll be targeting out and out wingers in the transfer window, maybe a luxury item but so far we haven’t been targeting these players.
Welcome to the club!! And apologies for the unnecessary negativity that comes from so many!! Don’t know where this ‘no pace’ is coming from- he looks faster than any of our players, from what I’ve seen!!
A good, young player, with good technical skills, and plenty of room for growth… A welcome addition in my eyes…
He’s fast enough but obviously hasn’t got a blistering pace a la Mbappe, very few strikers do. I’d say he’s bit like Lukaku but with more skills and better technique.
Agreed! What would be nice is to see more ‘fans’ get behind a new player, rather than start slating him before he’s even kicked a ball!! Good luck to the lad, hope he does well for us!!
6 goals in 37 games
Dreadful recruitment!!!
Embarrassing really and a complete waste of money that will prevent us from actually strengthening the squad properly
Makes me worry about chivu too, it’s like you watched this guy and you think he’s inters level?!
The fall from grace is long and violent it seems
Gotta say, I think you’re wrong about this, and how about waiting before adding a new signing to your hitlist? He’s a good young player, with skill and pace, and could improve dramatically by plating with better players!!
He lacks pace? I was hoping that’s at least what he would be coming with
He’s very slow and passive on the field
I tried to respond to you but my comment ended up top. But yeah don’t switch up now. Keep that same energy about us not needing pacey or tricky players because “we were doing fine without them”
Very slow? Seems like you’ve been watching another player because Bonny is anything than slow. Rather the opposite, very fast for being that tall and strong
Technically he is good on the ball and have the strength and the physicality make holdup plays. The doubt I have is that he is very slow and only scored 6 goals last season. This indicates he needs improvement on finding goals whether its his finishing or his off the ball movement.
I agree. He lacks pace and confidence in and around the box. 15 goals in 115 games is a joke for a striker. I don’t think he is worth anywhere near the $25 million paid for his service. Clearly, this was coach Chivu’s man. I hope he is not another failed project like Ass-lani or Correa.
He has 0.4 GI/0.41 xGI, resulting in as many goal involvements as expected, at his age – not too bad. 0.4 goals/assists per 90 mins of involvement. He did better than Toro last season if you look at the numbers…
Guess he will see the opponents defend very differently from what he is used to when playing in our jersey!
He’s not good with the ball either. I don’t know were these comments keep coming up. Go look at 1 game with him not youtube clips
