The €85 million release clause of striker Marcus Thuram at Inter Milan expires at midnight tonight.
This according to Italian transfer reporter Matteo Moretto, via FCInterNews.
Striker Marcus Thuram has a release clause in his contract with Inter Milan. Any club that offers €85 million would automatically trigger the clause, and could sign the Frenchman without negotiating with Inter.
Thuram is still on the same five-year deal with the Nerazzurri that he signed in 2023. Therefore, the clause is nothing new.
And naturally, the existence of the release clause has been a worry for Inter.
Even though Thuram has not been at his best in recent months, particularly due to niggling injuries, the 27-year-old former Borussia Monchengladbach striker remains a key player for Inter.
Moreover, the France international’s form has long attracted interest from other clubs.
Report – €85M Marcus Thuram Release Clause At Inter Milan Expires At Midnight

According to Italian transfer reporter Matteo Moretti, Inter can soon rest easily regarding Marcus Thuram.
That is because this summer, the Frenchman’s release clause is only active until the end of the first week of July.
Therefore, Thuram’s release clause is now just hours away from expiring.
Clearly, it is not as though any club is going to come out of nowhere to trigger the clause.
Therefore, Inter will regain control over Thuram’s future. If any club wants to try and sign Thuram over the remaining weeks of the summer transfer window, they’ll have to negotiate a fee with the Nerazzurri.
he’s the only forward that hold the ball and dribble also creates chances but because of is late poor form some idiots are saying rubbish
Martinez is also not reliable when it comes to scoring goals he’s incredibly wasteful
so best not to sell thuram
Even if someone did want him, knowing how stupid our management are, they’d probably negotiate something ridiculous like 30m after an 85m clause elapsed.
he hasn’t done anything for 6mths.
no one is paying that for him.
bruuu, he did super good in UCL knock out phase.
Pretty clear nobody wants him.
