Negotiations between Inter Milan and Fiorentina over the transfer of Sebastiano Esposito have hit a standstill.
Per Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, there’s a sizeable gap between Inter’s demands and Fiorentina’s offer.
Despite putting the 23-year-old up for sale, the San Siro giants are holding out for their €12 million asking price.
Indeed, Inter must offload several second-string stars to make room for new arrivals and, more importantly, balance the books.
However, they’re facing obstacles.
Inter Milan & Fiorentina At Odds for Sebastiano Esposito

Sebastiano Esposito has emerged as a concrete target for Fiorentina now that Albert Gudmundsson could leave the club.
Yet, the former UEFA Conference League finalists are only willing to offer more than €7m for the Italian striker.
On the other hand, Inter are unprepared to go below the €10m threshold.
Therefore, talks have taken a pause, with Fiorentina re-evaluating their options.
Lucas Beltran’s departure could bolster Fiorentina’s finances and allow them to up their bid for the ex-Empoli loanee.
Meanwhile, there’s no chance Inter would sanction Esposito’s exit under current terms.
