Inter Milan are firmly at risk of losing star wingback Denzel Dumfries by the end of the month.

According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the 29-year-old’s release clause is valid until July 31st.

Denzel Dumfries renewed his contract at San Siro last summer, putting pen to paper on a new four-year deal.

Though it ties him to Inter until 2028, there’s an ominous exit clause that could result in his untimely transfer.

Indeed, €25 million for a player of Dumfries’ quality is a bargain.

The duration of Dumfries’ release clause means he can leave the club before August.

Given his importance to the team, it would be a massive blow for new boss Cristian Chivu.

However, the Italian giants have yet to receive any offer for the ex-PSV Eindhoven star.

Unfortunately, with three weeks left, the situation can change, and Inter must prepare for a worst-case scenario.

Meanwhile, Luis Henrique could be Dumfries’ replacement despite his ups and downs at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
