Inter Milan have protected star defender Yann Bisseck with a €120 million release clause active throughout July.

According to Sport Mediaset via FCInterNews, the clause is valid until the end of the month.

Curiously, Inter included it in the original agreement with Aarhus back in 2023 when they signed Bisseck for €7m.

Indeed, influenced by La Liga’s insane release clauses, the Nerazzurri felt it wise to follow suit.

However, expecting anyone to trigger it borders on unrealistic.

Despite alternating between the starting line-up and the bench, Yann Bisseck boasts plenty of suitors outside Serie A.

Furthermore, his release clause only relates to foreign clubs.

Therefore, Aston Villa, Manchester United, and West Ham United could bypass Inter and activate the clause directly.

However, that scenario looks increasingly far-fetched, especially when factoring in Inter’s €35m asking price.

On the other hand, Bisseck could soon leave San Siro.

Indeed, Cristian Chivu is keen to sign Parma’s Giovanni Leoni.

The only way to reunite with the 18-year-old is for Inter to sell Bisseck first.
