Parma reportedly will not budge on their asking price of €40 million for Inter Milan and AC Milan target Giovanni Leoni.
This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. They report that the Gialloblu believe that the teenage defender’s value could rise to €70 million.
It is no secret that Inter Milan are keen to sign Parma defender Giovanni Leoni.
The Nerazzurri had already been trying to sign the young defender from Sampdoria last summer. However, Parma beat them to the punch.
The Emilian club paid a fee of around €7 million to sign Leoni.
And that already looks to be a fantastic piece of business. If Parma were to sell Leoni this summer, it would be for several times what they paid for him just twelve months ago.
FCInterNews report that Parma have rejected a bid of €25 million plus €5 million in add-ons from Premier League side Bournemouth for Leoni.
Parma Won’t Budge On €40M Asking Price For Inter & AC Milan Target Leoni

According to FCIN, Parma want €40 million for Giovanni Leoni. And they aren’t going to be negotiated down from that figure.
In fact, the Gialloblu are keen to keep the 19-year-old at the club for another season.
Parma’s view is that with another season of growth and positive performances, Leoni’s market value will only increase further.
More, Leoni is expected to earn a spot in Gennaro Gattuso’s senior Italy side.
Therefore, FCIN report, Parma believe that in another year, Leoni could be worth as much as €70 million. As such, they’re hardly in any hurry to cash in now.
However, reports FCIN, Inter are insistent on signing Leoni. They see the 19-year-old as their top target for the rest of the summer transfer window.
Meanwhile, the outlet note, the Nerazzurri’s city rivals AC Milan are also keen on Leoni’s signature.
Therefore, an offer of €35 million plus €5 million in add-ons could be sufficient to sway Parma this summer.
Looks like they trying to get back at us for taking Chivu.
No. We have great relations with parma. Its all the media speculating.
what about Scalvini?
he’s injury prone
relax guys, chivu know leoni him and out. but he got bonni instead.. this just an act to inflate leoni price so other club might pay overprice for him.
it’s 40m because Premiership clubs are enquiring about him, if just one of them is genuinely interested then it’ll stay at 40m and that’ll be his value as deemed by Parma as of July 2025. In football today, a players price is determined by the club which is interested in them. Wirtz isn’t worth 125m but to Liverpool, who needed a No10, he is. Declan Rice wasnt worth 110m with 1 year left on his contract but to Arsenal who needed a midfielder he was. The requirement determines the price.
40 mil is too much for him.
f*!k off…he’s barely even worth 25m!! BS clubs are taking advantage of Inter yet again…FFS
Still keen on Koni btw. He can play many possitions. So no stress. Dont really need to overpay. Palacios should be thrown into some games to do bastoni position while sandro does the center. That kid has skills. Dont know why simone ignored him
Inzaghi ignored all young players …
whos sandro
oh nvm bastoni
they uptaded it to 40m now
How did it go from 25 mil, to 30 mil, to 40 mil, now 70 mil?
read the story again. the price is $40 million not $70 million.
Hard pass. 70 mil is ridiculous for a young unproven player. He could pick up a small injury and end up like Mr. Glass/Sensi.
Yes. 30 million is max. No club pay more.
If it is more than 30 million. Better get others player, or keep Acerbi.
read the story again. the price is $40 million not $70 million.
Parma reject 30 mil Bournemouth because Leoni does not want to go to england.
Milan would not pay more than 15 million for young player just play 17 match serie A game.
Let Parma dream. They can keep Leoni.
We already give him a good chance to play under coach who trust him. If he does not want to come, so be it.
And that coach is the reason he has this 17 games. But lets not judje the kid. Its all media games. Nothing is official. Probably just the agent looking for a fat check. In Beppe we trust.
Right. Marotta and Ausilio are competent guy.
You obviously havent learn to see through the charade that is the transfer window. Been watching inter sinse 96. Marotta is probably the best in whole of Italy. Take some time to read up on him and try to compare Inter before him and durring. Consider all aspects of managing a club. Financial stability, modern training grounds, investments in youth projects, development of the first team for immediate success, brand recognition and finally – fanbase. Look at how fast the season cards are being sold out. Again. In Beppe we trust. Everything else is just speculations and pure hate. The club has been covered in gold, silver and few bronze medals durring his reign. Considering the financial situation in Italy and the condition inter was in before he came – top top top. The unity within the team is where he started. And then he moved straight to finances while building new grounds with the chinese money. The new u23 project is gonna develop players like topalovic, pieri and so on to be used on demand when the time is right. Amazing work. He closed few dealt these days about new guys for the u23. Dont believe everything you read in the summer window. Just support Inter and enjoy your life.
Ok so next article he will be 100m.
Well start saving amigo
read the story again. the price is $40 million not $70 million.
$70 million is an estimation of possible future value over the next few years of continuing growth.
relax guys, chivu know leoni him and out. but he got bonni instead.. this just an act to inflate leoni price so other club might pay overprice for him.
Toni 🙂 70?!?? Working so hard bro.
Anyway. Its gonna be 25 with performance bonuses up to 35.
17 games. 17. They should get that through their thick heads. Or they can buy some lemons and start licking them. Belotti was valued at 100 by toro after one good season. Left for free and no one wants him. Learn
