Francesco Pio Esposito is seemingly on track to play a prominent role at Inter Milan under new manager Cristian Chivu.
Per Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri boss is eager to establish the 20-year-old as a major star.
Fresh off a stunning breakout season at Spezia, Esposito is ready for his first Serie A campaign with Inter.
Indeed, the club has turned down as many as 13 offers for the sought-after youngster this summer.
Inter Milan Boss Cristian Chivu Has Big Plans for Francesco Pio Esposito

Francesco Pio Esposito has generated plenty of interest in Serie A and abroad.
In addition to Napoli, several top foreign clubs, including Ajax, had tried to sign the young gun.
However, Cristian Chivu has no intention of letting Esposito leave this summer.
Therefore, the Serie A runners-up have rejected all approaches, making him central to their long-term plans.
Now, it’s up to Chivu to find a place for Esposito in Inter’s star-studded frontline.
Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram remain the leading figures at San Siro.
But with Mehdi Taremi set to leave, Esposito could get more playing time than initially expected.
I wouldn’t start him from Day 1, the minute anything doesn’t go to plan he will get the blame. But Lautaro and Thuram often get subbed around 60 min mark, plenty time for him to show what he can do and if form allows grant him more playing time. He looks like he can take it once given the opportunities.
He needs experience in a smaller team. Inter is too big for an inexperienced player to start this week. He has a lot of potential but he needs to be eased into the team if we’re going to keep him. There’s no way he should be starting any game if our first team players are available.
You start him if his form starts to overtake the others though. How do you think the Messi’s and Mbappe’s started getting starting opportunities.
If someone offer 60? for Thuram, I will cash in and sign Openda
For me, Pio Esposito would start alongside Martinez on matchday 1… Thuram needs a wake up call! He needs to start playing like he gives a shit, and he needs to remember how to score goals!! Pio is the out and out number 9 that this team has been missing for years! Give him the chance to prove himself from day 1, and let Thuram and Bonny come in as he or Lautaro needs a rest….
Yea I would like to see Pio play along side Lautaro, especially if its an easy side. I think Pio just needs to play a lot of games to polish his craft and get more confidence.
