Inter Milan reportedly remain committed to completing a massive double swoop for Ademola Lookman and Giovanni Leoni.
According to Alfredo Pedulla via FCInter1908, the Atalanta forward is the immediate priority.
Indeed, talks between the clubs are underway after Ademola Lookman agreed to join the Nerazzurri.
However, Atalanta’s €50 million asking price remains a roadblock, with Inter offering €40m.
Nonetheless, negotiations continue as Cristian Chivu’s men aim to close the deal within ten days.
Inter Milan Plot Double Swoop for Ademola Lookman & Giovanni Leoni

Inter intend to finalize the agreement with Atalanta as soon as possible.
Otherwise, they will turn to other targets, with Juventus’ Nicolas Gonzalez emerging as the top alternative.
Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri will shift their focus to Giovanni Leoni only after concluding talks for Lookman.
Indeed, the 18-year-old sits at the top of Beppe Marotta’s shopping list despite his hefty price tag.
Aware of Leoni’s potential, Parma won’t sanction his departure for less than €40m.
On the other hand, Inter will try to drive the price down by offering Sebastiano Esposito as a makeweight.
it looks like fenerbache are coming for chala. if that happens, the real blockbuster would be getting ederson and lookman from Atalanta!! though I don’t see Atalanta selling em both.
Great a signing as Lookman would be, I would have thought that Leoni would be the priority, as despite the rather idiotic claims of Ausillio, our defence is in desperate need of fresh blood… then there’s also the fact Juve and Liverpool (supposedly) are starting to sniff around… so unless we want Leoni to be the next Brehmer, Buonjorno, or whoever else we’ve let slip through our fingers over the years, we should crack on, and get the deal done!! An opening bid would be a nice start….
I ain’t totally convinced on 40mils for a really unproven leoni. for all practical purposes chivu is moving to a back 4, and we have pavard and basto to start in the middle with agusto and bisseck for backup and then darmian, devrij and Acerbi for the super backup. I feel next year arsenal will sell calafiori or Tottenham will sell dragusin. and both of these will be available for cheap. with added international experience.
I’d like him to switch to a back 4, but all the reports say a 3…. I guess we’ll have to wait and see…
Juve can’t invest much unless they make b8g sales. they did little too much last year and already have players in abundance, though not all fitting in.
This was a pity missing on Chris Mosquera as he would have made a phenomenal pair with Leoni. mind you, Arsenal is paying only 20M for him.
