Inter Milan are reportedly becoming increasingly annoyed with the transfer stance of midfielder Kristjan Asllani.
The Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, report that the Nerazzurri want to offload the 23-year-old. However, the player is not keen to join a club outside Serie A, rejecting a Real Betis move.
Albanian international Kristjan Asllani has been at Inter Milan for three years now. The Nerazzurri signed him from Empoli in the summer of 2022.
During that time, Asllani has never really managed to cement a place for himself in the starting eleven.
It is not as though the Albanian has not had chances. On the contrary, he has had playing time over all of his three seasons in an Inter shirt.
However, the Nerazzurri don’t feel that Asllani has developed to the level they’d expected when they paid a €14 million for him three years ago.
Therefore, Asllani is not a player who Inter consider to be a part of their plans going forward.
Particularly since coach Cristian Chivu is planning to switch to a 3-4-2-1 formation, where Asllani would be surplus to requirements in a well-stocked midfield.

On the other hand, Kristjan Asllani himself does not want to leave Inter for any clubs outside Serie A, the Gazzetta dello Sport report.
And this is causing something of a transfer headache for Inter.
The Nerazzurri would like to collect a fee of around €15 million.
Therefore, Inter are willing to negotiate with La Liga side Real Betis, who have made an offer for the midfielder.
However, Asllani himself is not considering the possibility of joining the Andalusian club.
We bought him in Italy, Its not much to ask to not want to move to another country,
of course he will not leave, he earns 2 mln per season, no other team will offer him that and he can always brag he played for inter when he is done with football after 2-3 seasons collecting his salary, he doesnt want to grow and prove himself, he is happy to collect his paycheck
The mistake Inter keep making is they keep playing him. The fact that this guy played in the final and someone like Frattesi who scored the winning goal to reach the final still disgust me. STOP playing Asllani he’s as useless as it gets because he gives a sense of improving but then he gives out nothing. Bisseck for example he made so many pivoting mistakes but the potential he shows is far greater than this guy because for Bisseck you can see the drive in him to do something but this Asllani guy will choose to pass sideways when he clearly see another player run forward waiting for a pass or simply hide from receiving a pass. The annoying thing is he can do all of it pass and shoot or cross but he just often chooses to play it safe at every opportunity he gets. Barellla for instance would constantly make mistakes by misplacing a pass or something bu he NEVER stops trying to make something happen but Asllani just folds. In simple terms he’s not Inter material or any big club and his best hope is play for mid-table team however he would really develop if he plays for a relegation fighting team
Yeah he is annoying on and off the pitch. He is not at Inter level, not technically nor ethically. We should have seen this before signing him, such a waste!
He should have been sold last summer when apparently there was serious interest about him.
Any big club was intrested in him? Strange…
