Atalanta and Inter Milan have just finished a decisive meeting regarding the future of star forward Ademola Lookman.

According to Ivan Zazzaroni via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri have tabled their final proposal for the 27-year-old.

As expected, Inter have made clear that they will not match La Dea’s €50 million asking price.

Instead, they’re sticking to their guns.

Therefore, Ivan Juric’s men find themselves in a ‘take it or leave it’ position.

Cristian Chivu’s side will not exceed the €40 million threshold to finalize the deal.

The Serie A runners-up have offered €40 million upfront, with €5 million in performance-related bonuses.

Moreover, that’s their final bid.

Now it’s up to Atalanta to decide. They can either accept the proposal or walk away from the negotiating table.

However, it would probably result in unrest inside the locker room.

Indeed, Ademola Lookman has already informed La Dea of his intention to join the Nerazzurri.

Therefore, Atalanta would have to run the risk of having an unhappy player in the squad next season.
