Journalist Fabrizio Biasin says that Parma’s Giovanni Leoni is a target for Inter Milan, but only with sales.
Biasin writes in TuttoMercatoWeb that the Nerazzurri are considering the 19-year-old as a long-term replacement for Francesco Acerbi, Stefan de Vrij, and Matteo Darmian.
For the last several weeks, Inter have been heavily linked with Parma defender Giovanni Leoni.
Reportedly, the 19-year-old is the player the Nerazzurri see as ideal for the long-term future of their defense.
Furthermore, the fact that Leoni had worked with coach Cristian Chivu last season has further bumped him up Inter’s list of targets.
However, the price tag for Leoni would be quite high. Reportedly, Parma are holding out for as much as €40 million to sell the teenage defender.
Biasin Confirms “Giovanni Leoni Is A Target” For Inter – “But Only With Sales”

Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin writes “As far as Leoni? He’s still a target for Inter.”
“But before making an offer to Parma, the Nerazzurri want to free up space in their squad,” he adds.
“Which primarily means bringing in the cash necessary to make a fair offer for him.”
Biasin then explains that “Marotta and Ausilio want to give Chivu an extra defender to develop, in anticipation of the likely double- or triple-exit in the summer of 2026 (Acerbi, de Vrij, Darmian).”
“But these are all matters that they’ll only consider once the Lookman soap opera is over. That’s the top priority right now.”
