Inter Milan and Cagliari have agreed on a fee of €6 million for striker Sebastiano Esposito.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews.
It has always looked clear that Sebastiano Esposito will leave Inter Milan this summer.
One of these is Fiorentina. La Viola have reportedly spent the last few weeks eyeing up a deal for the 23-year-old.
However, Cagliari have also reportedly been keen on signing Esposito.
And today, the Rossoblu held a new round of talks with Inter for the Italy youth team international.

Whilst Cagliari have been sounding out a deal for Esposito for several weeks, today’s talks were decisive, confirms SportMediaset.
The broadcaster report that Inter and Cagliari have reached an agreement on a fee.
The Sardinians will pay a fee of €6 million for Esposito, anticipate Mediaset.
This means that Inter will finally cash in and sell Esposito outright after having loaned him out several times.
Last season, the 23-year-old was out on loan with Empoli in Serie A.
In previous campaigns, Esposito had various stints in Serie A as well as with Basel and Anderlecht.

I know that players with expiring contract are usually sold for less than their price, but this is pathetic. If he were 6,7 years older then ok but for a 23 year old who did not have a bad season, with no added percentage of sale or something like that, our board who approves of this kind of deals are criminal.

Exactly. It is not like there are offers of 12M and 6M and inter management decided to go for the 6M lol. People keep saying that we should offload who and who but please be realistic. These players are earning a lot at Inter (that’s how we lured them to come at first place) and there are not many clubs that can match their salary. Or if they match their salary, the clubs will try to lower the fee to make up for that.
