Inter Milan are reportedly in direct talks with Chelsea about the possibility of signing forward Christopher Nkunku.
This according to French outlet L’Equipe, via FCInterNews. They also report that the 27-year-old could even be brought back into the fold at Stamford Bridge.
Inter Milan have been keeping tabs on the situation of Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku.
The Nerazzurri have been aware of the opportunity to sign the 27-year-old former RB Leipzig forward for some time. He is a player Chelsea are desperate to sell this summer.
Nkunku would cost a fee of around €40 million. That is certainly attainable for Inter. After all, it is what they initially bid for Ademola Lookman.

The Nerazzurri see the France international as a possible Plan B if they are unable to sign Ademola Lookman from Atalanta this summer.
However, there is also another possibility for Nkunku.
Even though the 27-year-old looks to have been frozen out at Chelsea, he could regain his place in the project.
Blues coach Enzo Maresca hasn’t totally closed off to the idea of keeping Nkunku, reports L’Equipe.

I don’t trust this at all. Out of Lois Openda, Eliesse Ben Seghir why would Inter go for this guy who is injury prone and is turning 28? Also it really pisses me off that we would even consider going for someone who is an outcast from Chelsea with only 3 goals last season. Like seriously?

we cant afford Nkunku salary, neither we can match what he earns in Chelsea, no player will willingly loose guaranteed money

That’s why we need to stop making same mistakes of buying players like Nkunku and start growing our own players. One good thing is that Inzaghi left us and got someone like Chivu who is trying change Inters style to more of an attractive football.
