Inter Milan are ready to move for Genoa defender Koni De Winter if either Yann Bisseck or Benjamin Pavard are sold this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan are reportedly keen on Genoa defender Koni De Winter.
The Belgian has impressed this season for Il Grifone. He has been one of the outstanding young defenders in Serie A.
And the defense is certainly one area of the pitch where Inter will want to strengthen.
However, the Corriere dello Sport report, Inter will only move for De Winter on the condition of a sale in defense.
Inter To Move For De Winter If Bisseck Or Pavard Are Sold

Specifically, the Corriere anticipate, the Nerazzurri would target De Winter as a reinforcement on the right side of their back three.
Currently Inter have two players for that role. Yann Bisseck and Benjamin Pavard.
The Corriere report that Bisseck is not a player Inter are particularly keen to sell. However, if they receive an offer of €40 million for the German international, it could sway them.
Meanwhile, the Corriere anticipate, Inter would listen to offers for Benjamin Pavard. They would not mind offloading the Frenchman’s €5 million net per season wages.
And if either Bisseck or Pavard were to head for the exit door, the Corriere reports, Inter are ready to sign De Winter.
If we can’t buy Leoni for max 30mil, then don’t offer more, he isn’t worth that much right now. And go for Vasquez or Solet before going for de Winter. Both are better than him, probably the best centrebacks in league who will have place in starting 11 immediately (won’t be so expensive + resale value should be higher considering they’re both under 27).
