Italian agent Andrea D’Amico has shared a new twist in the ongoing saga surrounding Inter Milan target Ademola Lookman and his fallout with Atalanta.
Speaking to Kiss Kiss Napoli via FCInterNews, D’Amico claimed the Nigerian ace could terminate his contract with La Dea.
Ademola Lookman has been Inter’s top transfer target for almost a month now.
However, the Serie A runners-up have been unable to convince Atalanta to sell their standout performer.
Indeed, they’ve already seen two formal offers comfortably rejected by the Bergamo outfit.
Inter’s second bid, worth €45 million, fell €5 million short of Atalanta’s asking price.
Furthermore, Ivan Juric’s men have shown zero interest in lowering their demands, putting Inter in a tough spot.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old is doing everything to force his transfer to San Siro.
He has already refused to join the squad for pre-season training and deleted all social media posts in the Atalanta shirt.
On top of that, he has recently emptied his locker at La Dea’s training ground.
Andrea D’Amico Offers Huge Ademola Lookman Update Amid Standstill Between Atalanta & Inter Milan

Lookman is currently in limbo.
Atalanta won’t let him join Inter unless the Nerazzurri meet their €50 million valuation.
On the other hand, the player has no intention of staying at the Gewiss Stadium.
Therefore, D’Amico believes the next step could be a contract termination.
“Atalanta should take issue with certain clubs that are unsettling Lookman,” he said. “Inter have made their offer.
“I read that the player had an agreement with Atalanta regarding his departure.
“Let’s not forget that, following the Diarra case, a player can terminate a contract.
“Lookman could terminate his deal, and Atalanta would then be entitled to compensation,” he continued.
“The abolition of Article 17 upholds the free movement of citizens in Europe.
“Lookman is non-EU, but there are legal precedents that equate non-EU workers to EU ones.
“Let’s not forget, however, that players aren’t pieces of wood – they’re human beings.”
Atalanta must sell him because they have an unprofessional local coach that behaves bad to foreign players .
The club should be going for italian players . Check how foreign players left in the last five years.
why can’t he add the extra 5mil instead of being so unprofessional
quite a few players have contributed to their transfer fees in the past
The fact that Diarra’s case has reared into this matter as a reference point by public opinions shows that karma will one day take it’s toll on Atalanta.
Napoli is another club which tempted to ruin Osimhen’s career.
Need we say that Atalanta and Napoli have shown signs of jealousness or greediness that could dent their poaching of players in future?
wasn’t Lookman born in England, and chose to represent Nigeria?
and he’s not EU then, since.. brexit?
If the termination fee is lower than 45m might as well terminate it and Inter will then compensate on behalf. Though if this was an option, Lookman and Inter wouldve acted quickly on that and not wasted precious weeks dealing with this. It’s not gonna be that easy else every other players wouldve done so already. Unsure about Diarra’s case though
Even if it is the case. Inter wouldn’t want to Rubin thief relationship with Atlanta for one single player. Don’t forget the two teams have a good relationship and you don’t know what would happen in the future… so no need to burn unnecessary bridges
Ruin* their*
The way Atalanta have acted, I think those bridges are already burnt!!
bridges burnt and turned to ashes a while ago MJ!! Personally, even if Inter end up with Lookman, I doubt they’d want to do any future business with a scumbag team/owner/agents.. would you want to if the roles were reversed?! Percussi is a Benchod and karma will get to him soon enough!! Forza Inter
Its the player who wouldnt want to look unprofessional and leave over something so small. If he does leave it wouldnt have anything to do with us, it wouldnt be burning any bridges just business. Atalanta isnt doing us any favors right now so lets be real there are no such things as bridges in business. Only profits.
But whats the termination fee cost?
