Inter Milan are reportedly not planning to raise their offer any further for Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908. They report that the Nerazzurri will sign another forward, but that they’re not going to go higher with their bid for Lookman.
Inter Milan’s pursuit of Ademola Lookman has become the transfer soap opera of the summer.
The Nigerian international has done everything he can to push for the move. He has not been in training for over a week, having made a very public transfer request last weekend.
Meanwhile, Atalanta have rejected two bids from the Nerazzurri. Most recently an offer worth €45 million with add-ons.
Inter Won’t Raise Offer For Atalanta Forward Ademola Lookman

According to Sky Sport Italia, Inter are not planning to go any higher with their offer.
The Nerazzurri feel that they have put as much on the table as they can.
Meanwhile, Atalanta clearly rejected Inter’s most recent bid for Lookman. This was well over a week ago.
Therefore, Inter and Atalanta are currently at a stalemate.
According to Sky, however, even if Inter fail to sign Lookman, they will still sign a different forward this summer.
Particularly with Cristian Chivu looking to play with a 3-4-2-1 formation, the Nerazzurri feel that they need another attacking player to ensure adequate depth next season.
what inter need is leoni and chiesa. the best and reality choice.
I agree.
two players for the price of Lookman.
cheisa could even come as a loan player.
Leoni has massive value uplift potential.
Cheisa and Thuram would be covered by Fratessi, Luis Henrique and Zalewski.
That’s plenty good players enough for a rest.
A disappointing mercato so far.
Completely agree. Most Mercato for inter have been disappointing for the past few years but this one is getting bad. If we don’t see any movement by next week. This will probably be the worst in recent years.
