And Inter, for their part, have made two offers to Atalanta. La Dea have turned both of them down, however.

I am confused with this whole situation.
Time is running out and we are still not doing anything about our defence.
We are still in the dark whilst our immediate rivals like Juve, Milan, Napoli and the others are seriously reshaping themselves. Let’s see what happens next when there’s still time.
man which side Ghana are you from
Very soon, African players will not be attracted to the Serie A. First, it was Osimhen, the immediate past Africa’s best; now it’s Lookman, the current Africa’s best. You cannot treat Europe’s best player with such disrespect. This is not business but racism and fascism!
This is a complete waste of time and resources. Actually like chasing shadows.
A misplacement of priorities.
It’s really unreally unbelievable to note that this is what these people do for a living. I am neither a Coach not football ⚽ club owner, but as a fan, DEFENCE DEFENDERS AND DEFENDING is clearly the greatest challenge I see here not attack. Unless mayb d biz Owners are more interested in names that will bring in more tickets and sell jerseys for them.
I absolutely hate the fact that this off season. All we heard was that Oaktree was ready the invest a lot of the money earned from last season into young dynamic players. Turns out we have a system with zero strategy. First off Inter should NEVER do business with Lookmans agents ever again. Secondly they have to work on multiple projects as once. Lookman situation is terrible and they should off walked away weeks ago. Doing absolutely nothing with addressing our defensive issues is criminal. I’m ready to call this transfer market a complete wash at this point. Things could change but not very optimistic
This became ugly. There was no reason to make this mess; either pay what the club wants for the player or move on.
Yea exactly. I am quite confused on the decisions Inter is making in this transfer market. Like wasting 4 weeks chasing Lookman while Atalanta already declined the offer. Just wondering why Inter couldn’t work on other targets while waiting for Lookman. We only have less than 2 weeks left until the season starts, so we are very late in the game.
I’m not sure if this was something that should have went this far. I’m actually happy for Inter to pursue Kone instead, but lets see what happens. Hope Inter doesn’t get any shit from this mass.
Kone is still not possible to get. Roma refused the offfer and not under pressure to accept. While the defence situation is ugly and getting Lookman even in unfavourable terms and late is still a plus. Inter should focus on the defence who are mostly cheaper and can do the most impact in the current Inter. Last season Inter had Correa, Taremi and Arna all terrible in their own special way but with just the addition of Bony and Pio then the situation is much better since both can start and actually play good for the entire 90 minutes same with midfield except Asllani, Inter have Susic who can do a lot more in attack and Frattesi is staying. The defence is just so bad and there’s no hope whatsoever
wow.. what an effort from Lookman..
