Udinese coach Kosta Runjaic says that his team are “dead set” on keeping Inter Milan linked defender Oumar Solet this summer.
The Friulani coach gave an update on the 25-year-old’s future, via FCInterNews.
Udinese defender Oumar Solet has reportedly risen up Inter’s shortlist of targets.
The 25-year-old is reportedly the player the Nerazzurri will move for in the event that they sell Benjamin Pavard.
Inter have missed out on other targets such as Koni De Winter and Giovanni Leoni. However, they are still considering a reshape of their backline.

Amid these transfer rumours about Solet, Udinese coach Kosta Runjaic fielded a question regarding the Frenchman’s future.
“You can’t rule anything out in football,” he admitted.
“But we’re dead set on keeping him,” Runjaic said.
“And he would benefit from continuing his journey here in Udine. He’s had a great six months, with a few down moments.”
The Udinese coach said of Solet that “another season here would allow to raise his level even further.”
“I think that he has great potential for the future.”
“I’d like him to stay here this season,” said Runjaic. “The club know that, and we all want him to stay another season and be a leader in our defense.”
