The transfer of Nicola Zalewski to Atalanta is not going to unlock a deal for Inter Milan to sign Ademola Lookman.
This according to L’Eco di Bergamo, via FCInterNews.
The transfer saga between Inter, Atalanta, and Ademola Lookman has now dragged on for more than a month.
Inter have made two offers for the Nigerian international. First, they made a bid worth €40 million all-in. Then, after Atalanta rejected that, they increased it to €45 million including add-ons.
Atalanta then rejected Inter’s second bid for Lookman.
And in the meantime, the former RB Leipzig forward has done everything he possibly can to force through a move to Inter.
Lookman has publicly demanded a transfer. he has also no-showed training for well over a week.
Zalewski To Atalanta Doesn’t Unlock Inter Deal For Lookman
In the meantime, Atalanta have agreed a deal to sign wingback Nicola Zalewski from Inter.
Therefore, this has led to some speculation that La Dea could potentially soften their stance on Lookman.
However, according to L’Eco di Bergamo, that is not the case.
The newspaper report that the deal for Zalewski has not had anything to do with talks for Zalewski.
Therefore, if Inter want to try and sign Lookman, they will have to continue separate talks.
Selling a young promising player with the ability to start in the first team already, AND could take people on and good shot / dead ball for peanuts to the club f**king us over currently is an absolute disgrace and whoever is making decisions at this club needs to be stopped

People need to chill this transfer can be turned around and be a good one if Inter managed to get some kind of money from Asllani. Like do people realise just how difficult to get rid of deadweight we had Correa for the entirety of his contract Lol. The space created from Asllani means we will finally start to see decent midfield players cover that position from Susuc,Zielinski,Hakan or even Barella. I think a new holding midfield player will be signed. Again all of that depending on the Asllani move.

Earlier this week from Bergamo they were reporting a three-way domino where Lookman goes to Inter, Munoz goes from Fulham to Atalanta and Taremi goes to Fulham. One of these players in not like the other two and I wouldn’t place a lot of credibility in reports from places that can’t tell the difference.
