Inter Milan have reportedly set their sights on Benfica midfielder Florentino and Borussia Dortmund forward Felix Nmecha.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Italian giants have expanded their search for reinforcements beyond Serie A.

Despite vying for the signature of Ademola Lookman the entire summer, Inter will probably fail to sign the Atalanta star.

Indeed, negotiations have broken down, forcing the Nerazzurri to look for attacking additions elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Manu Kone remains a realistic target for the San Siro club.

Roma would ideally keep hold of the French midfielder, who enjoyed an impressive maiden season at Stadio Olimpico.

However, Inter could still sign the ex-Borussia Monchengladbach ace toward the end of the summer.

If they miss out on Kone’s signature, they could revisit their interest in Florentino.

Meanwhile, Nmecha has emerged as a backup option for last season’s Serie A runners-up.

With Lookman set to stay at Atalanta, Inter have inquired about the Dortmund forward.

Yet, Die Borussen’s €60 million asking price could deter the Nerazzurri from pursuing the 24-year-old’s services.
