Midfielder Davide Frattesi has found “new life” at Inter Milan since the arrival of Cristian Chivu as coach.
This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
It has been a rollercoaster few months for Davide Frattesi at Inter Milan.
The 25-year-old had played a key role for the Nerazzurri in the knockout rounds of the Champions League. He scored important goals against both Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
However, Frattesi did not play in the final against Paris Saint-Germain. This reportedly caused a faceoff between he and coach Simone Inzaghi.
That all but confirmed that Frattesi would be departing Inter this summer.

As the Corriere dello Sport note, however, things have turned around dramatically in the last three months.
First, Simone Inzaghi departed as Inter coach.
The 49-year-old had never really considered Frattesi as a regular starter.
However, Cristian Chivu’s arrival as coach to replace Inzaghi has changed things significantly.
The Romanian has his own ideas. And Frattesi will have the chance to prove himself in the new setup.
So far, Frattesi has yet to feature for Inter under Chivu. The Italian international missed the Club World Cup and then Inter’s preseason friendlies, undergoing abdominal surgery.
However, now Frattesi is ready to return. And he will likely be available against either Torino or Udinese.
