Inter Milan and Ajax miss out, as West Ham United midfielder Edson Alvarez is set to make the switch to Fenerbahce.

This according to German broadcaster Sky Sports Deutschland, via FCInterNews.

Midfielder Edson Alvarez joined Premier League side West Ham United from Dutch giants Ajax in the summer of 2023.

The Mexican international has been a key player for the Hammers in his two seasons at the club.

However, this summer Alvarez will depart from the London Stadium. Sky Sports Deutschland report that he has already found a new club.

Turkish side Fenerbahce have shown an interest in signing Edson Alvarez from West Ham United this summer.

And according to Sky Sports Deutschland, the Istanbul club have agreed a deal to sign the 27-year-old from West Ham United.

Furthermore, the German broadcaster report that Fenerbahce were not the only team with an interest in Alvarez’s signature.

They also name Inter Milan as a club who were looking to sign Alvarez. Furthermore, Ajax were also hoping to bring the Mexican international back this summer.
