Inter Milan could pull off a late signing to strengthen their attacking options after selling Nicola Zalewski to Atalanta.
According to FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri will also try to offload two more fringe players in the final days of the transfer window.
Indeed, Tomas Palacios and Mehdi Taremi could leave San Siro in the coming days.
Despite a failed transfer to Santos, the 22-year-old defender is up for sale amid interest from an unnamed domestic club.
Meanwhile, the Iranian striker could move to PSV Eindhoven.
Inter Milan to Make Late Attacking Addition After Nicola Zalewski Sale

Inter sold Zalewski to Atalanta for a reported fee of €17 million earlier in August.
Therefore, there’s a gap on the left side, with Carlos Augusto expected to play second fiddle to Federico Dimarco.
However, there’s room for another wingback or a versatile forward.
Furthermore, Cristian Chivu’s men have the budget to strengthen the squad before the transfer window closes.
Eventually, it will be up to Beppe Marotta to decide whether to invest in a last-minute signing.
I just wish we tried to get Scalvini from Atalanta instead of Lookman. He would be a good addition for years to come. Next year all of Acerbi, DeVrij and Darmian will leave and we’ll need a lot of new defenders.
Marotta is a total idiot. Inter could have sold Bisseck and buy Lookman and another player. What about selling to buy? Marotta needs to be removed he is clearly not moving intelligently.
You already said this. Tell us something new next time. You are starting to become booooring.
Komentarmu selalu negative, mohon naaf saya rasa kamu bukan interisti
Marotta an idiot? Ok, buddy…
and Josh is super smart.
this mf always bring negativity to our comment sections, go back to your corner and shut up!!…Marotta an idiot? is not even close to reality he brings many scudetto, many coppa italia, plus 2 UCL finals, then starting this season we are back in profit!! hes awesome..thats why Oaktree give him 2% of inter main stocks and promote him to full CEO.
You would sell a cb who still has room to upgrade before Pavard who is on downward form and career path, and 3 other cb who have long entered 30s. De Vrij isn’t material for 3 years now, high wage, Darmian has his moments, but his best time has passed and as for Acerbi, thanks for everything since he came, but we as vice-champions of Europe mustn’t have to depend on a man who is nearing 40 as a starter. For all his masterful manmarking abilities and composure in defense, he is slower and slower, ball is easily going over him and leaving space for strikers to just speed passed him.
Room to upgrade? He cannot do the basics of defending, he was bought because he’s tall and can move forward with the ball when he looks imposing however he’s already getting shown up for how average he is in serie A, so in Europe or big games he’s not reliable.
He makes silly mistakes and when he loses the ball going forward doesn’t do enough to get back and cover leaving 2 CB’s often to mark 3+ players – the maths leads to serious chances.
Not to mention he is better aerially going forward than he is defensively.. which is the wrong way round
The management are hoping he can learn from acerbi etc and give him another crack as any alternative is money we don’t have, but we could have got 40m for him this year and I fear he will never reach that again, as people realise his limitations.
Obviously I hope he proves me wrong but I don’t particularly trust him in an interview shirt until he learns how to defend.
This is why Pavard was kept,
Do i think Bisseck is awesome cb? No. But i do think there are players who need to be replaced before him. There are 4 cbs who needed to be replaced, Darmian, de Vrij and Acerbi are on expiring contract, and as i’ve said Pavard had fitness problems, not in the same form as years ago, he had solid games, but nothing far too impressive. Considering this summer we could sell him for 20-25mil and replace him for someone good that won’t cost much, because by next we won’t be able to sell for 15mil, same happened with Hakan for last summer.
As for theirs replacements we had Bertola for free, didn’t go for him. De Winter? Gone(never was a fan that much, overrated). Beukema? Gone, and he would be a starting material. Solet? Allegations. Vasquez? Starter material, can be bought for 20 mil, don’t know why we couldn’t go for him. Same happened with Milenkovic, had years of experience in Italy, but we never went for him, and was one of the best reinforcements in England.
Not only that, but if you really think about it, Marotta and his two assistants SCREWED up in the last season.
They failed to see, or played dumb, and never intervened in the January transfer window, to AT LEAST get a quality forward, to replace the OLD Arnautovic and the failed, Taremi and Correa.
These 3, for me were the reason Lautaro and Thuram got tired!!!
And eventually got hurt too!
Playing every 3 days, requires fresh players, and if you have worthless, untrustworthy players, you end up demoralizing the rest of the team.
It’s already hard having to fight bad unlucky days, and with these 3 it got worse.
Inzaghi did not trust them,
He was forced to throw the in the best he could, the payback was VERY POOR!
Then you also had an Aslani, not even close to Chala!
They say Napoli was strong, if that was true, why the won the scudetto by one point, even though they were not playing every 3 days???!!!
They won because faith punished inter with an arm penalty that was very iffy!!!
Marotta and co, were at sleep at the wheel!!!
