Hakan Calhanoglu will start for Inter Milan against Udinese, while Petar Sucic is favourite over Henrikh Mkhitaryan to start the Serie A clash.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan take on Udinese in Serie A on Sunday evening. This will be their second league match of the campaign, having beaten Torino 5-0 in their debut.
The Nerazzurri will be playing at the San Siro for the second week in a row.
Without the Champions League starting up yet, Inter have a full week to prepare between league matches.
Therefore, Nerazzurri coach Cristian Chivu will not be thinking too much about rotating his squad.
Hakan Calhanoglu To Start For Inter Vs Udinese – Sucic Favourite Over Mkhitaryan

In midfield, Sky Sport Italia note, Chivu will be absolutely spoiled for choice.
Firstly, the broadcaster note, Davide Frattesi is back to full fitness. Therefore, he could play against Udinese .
Then, midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu will be back after serving a suspension in Inter’s opener against Torino.
The 31-year-old had picked up a one-match suspension in Inter’s last match of last season against Como, due to accumulation of yellow cards.
However, Calhanoglu will be back available against Udinese on Sunday.
And according to Sky, the Turk will play from the start.
Therefore, Nicolo Barella will move from the base of midfield where he started against Torino to a box-to-box role.
Then, for the third midfield slot, Sky report that Petar Sucic is favourite to retain his place. Therefore, it would be Henrikh Mkhitaryan who drops to the bench.
If Susic doesnt start, I’m going to be very worried about Chivu. He ran the most distance and barely took a wrong step. He must start with Barellat, Third option hakan or Miki. Dont care. Susic must start.
Mikhitrian should never play again for this club !!!!!!! are they fkn blind !!!!!!! this dude has been the worst player for inter in the last 2 YEARS
Incorrect. You are talking nonsense and the coaches clearly think he is a key piece in defense.
Hahahaha. You are so damn funny…
Not the worst. But he’s not at levels to start every match. Hakan-Susic-Barella even Zielinski are ahead of him. If a team wants to change the match it’s not Miki who’ll do it. In facts in terms of a midfield player who missed the most easy chances it’s Miki but he’s a useful player no doubt 100%
it’s like you have just smoked weed before making this comment. mikh who has been consistent these past years.
Exactly how I expected it. Anything else would not make sense.
