Striker Mehdi Taremi says that he is “happy to join Olympiacos” after one season as an Inter Milan player.
Iranian football reporter Hatem Shiralizadeh relays the 33-year-old’s comments ahead of his switch to the Athens-based clubs.
Striker Mehdi Taremi is on the verge of joining Olympiacos.
The Iranian only just joined Inter last summer. The Nerazzurri signed him on a free transfer after his contract with Porto expired.
However, Taremi never quite lived up to expectations at Inter.

Therefore, Inter took the decision to sell the 33-year-old this summer, just one year after he had arrived.
There were numerous clubs to show an interest in Taremi.
These ranged from Premier League clubs like Fulham and Leeds United to Brazilian clubs Botafogo and Flamengo.
However, it is Greece where Taremi will in fact be playing his football next season.
Olympiacos agreed a deal with Inter in the last few days. Then, they also reached an agreement with the player.
And Taremi himself has confirmed the move.

Striker Mehdi Taremi gave his thoughts ahead of his departure from Inter to the Greek Super League.
“I am very happy to be here,” said the Iranian international striker.
“Olympiacos is a well-known and prestigious team in Greece,” he added, furthermore.
“And I am thrilled to have the opportunity to play for them.”
