Inter Milan completed five incoming deals during the summer transfer window to reinforce Cristian Chivu’s squad.
According to Corriere della Sera via FCInterNews, Inter’s effort may prove insufficient to address all shortcomings.
Manuel Akanji, Andy Diouf, Petar Sucic, Ange-Yoan Bonny, and Luis Henrique have signed contracts at San Siro.
However, Inter failed to sign their top target, Ademola Lookman, from Atalanta.
Indeed, despite their relentless pursuit of the Nigerian ace, La Dea fended the Nerazzurri off.
Inter Milan Failed to Address All Voids During Summer Transfer Window

In addition to Lookman, Inter had hoped to sign Manu Kone from Roma to bolster Chivu’s midfield options.
Yet, the Giallorossi were unwilling to offload the French star, forcing the Serie A runners-up to turn to Diouf.
Whether the former Lens man has what it takes to succeed in Italy’s top flight remains questionable.
Meanwhile, he may soon have a chance to prove himself when Inter take on Juventus in the famous Derby d’Italia.
Ultimately, it’s up to Chivu to decide.
However, there’s no doubt that Lookman and Kone would’ve been significant upgrades.
//…we are like a ship without a rudder//
Respectfully disagree.
We do have a “rudder” … it is a cash flow !
Oaktree care less about anything else.
no shit Sherlock.. this was amongst the worst transfer window in a long time. looks like our management is scouting for players in the trash cans.. we sorely needed a long term Acerbi and de vrij successor. we got akanji a 30yr old injury prone chappy. we needed a dribbler and someone to take on defenders, we got 3 mediocre players bonny, henrique and diouf who are still struggling to keep hold of the ball forget dribble. after all that most of our pensioners Acerbi, Mhiki, devrij, Sommer still remain in our starting lineup. we are like a ship without a rudder, and chivu will be the sacrificial lamb!!
I almost agree with Inzaghi, he must have had behind the scenes info that it’s gonna be another year of this cheapskate ¢rap, despite us earning enough and more, hence he left this circus.
Didn’t even try
100 % agree…Inter’s ambitions are over for the next ten years. We should never let Insaghi go.
i hope you eat that word back at the end of the season.
I am hoping for that too.
