Serie A giants Roma are reportedly willing to listen to offers for Manu Kone, heavily linked with a move to Inter Milan in the summer.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, Financial Fair Play rules have forced Roma to change Kone’s transfer status.
Indeed, Inter identified Manu Kone as their top midfield target in the last transfer window.
Furthermore, they even allocated €40 million to secure his signature.
However, Roma refused to negotiate the Frenchman’s exit.

Despite fending off Inter’s approach in August, Roma may soon sell Kone.
Indeed, the Giallorossi must comply with FFP rules.
That requires them to raise around €90 million from player sales.

We have aging backline of Acerbi/de vrij/ Damian and a younger center back in Bisseck who is hardly reliable and we are planning on throwing 40m to Roma for another midfielder when we have so many midfielders that we haven’t been able to utilize due to various issues well known to all inter fans.
At this time our focus should be to rebuild the new team from the defense starting from the goalkeeper, Sommer has been decent but has recently been showing signs of old age and it’s time to start trusting in Martinez or get a new goalkeeper or even try to bring back stankovic, then we can focus on buying at-least two younger center backs with potentials to be world class with patience, this in my opinion should be our priority not throwing money around like we gat it when it’s obvious we don’t have it according to Marotta and oaktree, we should have at-least invested on a solid center back this summer if we were truly serious about rebuilding this aging squad. Just my humble opinion of a fan that has been supporting inter for 27yrs passionately
we don’t have first class midfielders, both Mikhi and Chala are old and nowhere near their prime, and in addition, the latter is mentally demolished for who knows which reason(s). Frattesi is unreliable, Zielinski never manager to get his Napoli form, Sucic still young and unroven…we need two strong world class midfielders, one attacking and the other one defensive.

Hakan is on a downward and declining rabidly Zeilinski is never convincing Diouf is new and no one knows what to expect, Miky is old and so we ve got only 2 mid with similar qualities my conclusion we need Kone and he is worth more than 40 million
No need to buy, exchange with Frattesi, I doubt he has a starting role in the team going forward, if he is not starting in next few matches, it is better to exchange with a starter like Kone
Better buy Svilar from them. Next season we’ll have Carboni and Frattesi as AM, Barella, Sucic and probably Stankovic if he continues with good games in Belgium so look elsewhere for another midfielder.
Kone is not an AM, he would slide right into Hakans place next to barella in a midfield double pivot. Susic would be the AM. Chivu wants to switch to a double pivot midfield. Kone would be perfect because he does it all like barella.
As i’ve said we’ll have 3 standard midfielders + 2 attacking midfielders, so we’ll need 1 more standard cm, beside that one maybe Chivu go for plus another young player who’ll get opportunity on occasion. Roma won’t sell us 2 of their players from starting 11, no matter how dire the FFP is. We need a new gk who is amongst the best in the world. We hardly can get best gks from Premier league, so there aren’t that much options. Kobel and Diogo Costa are the only choices besides Svilar, but they will be more expensive.
I forgot Diouf as well as an option for cm.
inter will ofload 3 senior CMF next season. so they will need kone as DMF.
