Al-Hilal are keen on signing Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio but a deal remains complicated due to his ties to the Nerazzurri.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport, via FcInterNews, Al-Hilal are serious about Ausilio but consider the deal ‘complicated, if not impossible.’

The Saudi Pro League side are keen to reunite Ausilio with former Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi.

Inzaghi left Inter in the summer in favour of a new adventure with the Saudi giants.

Cristian Chivu joined the Nerazzurri to replace Inzaghi.

Al-Hilal Offer Ausilio Bumper Wage To Convince Him To Leave Inter Milan

The reports claim that Al-Hilal have offered Ausilio a wage of around €3 million per season.

However, this is not enough to completely convince Ausilio to pack his bags and leave Lombardy.

Ausilio has been sporting director for Inter officially since 2014, although he worked at the club in other capacities beforehand.

For now, Al-Hilal will keep up their pursuit.

The Saudi side seem determined to strengthen their backroom staff.

Ausilio would mark an important step of cohesion between the director and the head coach.
