Inter Milan head coach Cristian Chivu is ready to put his faith in youngster Francesco Pio Esposito ahead of a busy fixture schedule in remainder of 2025.

Last season, the Nerazzurri had Iranian forward Mehdi Taremi as their third choice striker.

However, with Taremi’s departure in the summer.

Chivu decided to prioritise the development of Pio Esposito instead.

After two weeks off, Inter must face trips to both Roma and Napoli.

After that, a tough Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid.

Pio Esposito could see himself pick up more minutes in the Champions League, as he did against Ajax on Wednesday.
