Inter Milan made the decision to keep young forward Francesco Pio Esposito before the Club World Cup began.
According to reports from Sky Sport, via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri had already decided on the starlet’s future prior to the reformatted tournament in the USA.
It was in this tournament that the youngster picked up his first minutes under new coach Cristian Chivu.
He impressed in the competition and is deservedly a part of Inter’s team this season.

Chivu brought the Italian into the starting eleven due to back pain suffered by club captain Lautaro Martinez.
Whilst the Argentine is likely to return in tomorrow’s match against Sassuolo, Pio’s inclusion cannot be ruled out.
Sky’s reports claim that both the head coach and the upper management believe in the youngster’s potential.
Therefore, Chivu will give the youngster opportunities to make his mark on this side.
