Inter Milan have six players whose contracts are due to expire in June 2026.
DAZN have taken stock of the situation and provided an update about each player, via FCInter1908.
Goalkeeper Yann Sommer is perhaps the most interesting case.
The Swiss shot-stopper has been the subject of much attention in the past week.
The Inter keeper was disappointing against Juventus last weekend, conceding four goals and not saving a single shot.
However, Sommer followed this up with a stellar performance during the week against Ajax.
DAZN report that Inter are unlikely to offer Sommer a new deal, especially given the investment made into his back-up Josep Martinez.
Clock Ticking Down To June 2026 For Inter Milan Stars

Sommer is not the only goalkeeper whose contract with Inter Milan expires in June 2026.
Third-choice Raffaele Di Gennaro looks set to leave the club, with negotiations reportedly not underway for an extension.
However, it is unclear as to whether the Nerazzurri will entertain renewal discussions or not.
Three of Inter’s ageing defence are also coming to an end of their contracts.
Matteo Darmian will be 36 at the end of this season and DAZN claim Inter will consider a short-term extension, if not parting ways next summer.
Francesco Acerbi is also likely in his last season with the Nerazzurri, as the 37-year-old reaches the latter stages of his career.
Acerbi’s centre-back partner Stefan de Vrij is less likely to leave. However, the reports suggest that if Inter are serious about their project, the Dutchman could see the door.
Finally, Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is unlikely to sign a new deal.
The 36-year-old was considering retirement even last season.
At any other club in the world, this would be easy…. thank you for your service, and goodbye….
They all have to go. Its a big change and there is a risk, but for greater goods we need to make some sacrifice. We need some excitement in our team!!
Agree, the only one who could maybe stay is de Vrij, but even he has too high wage for a sporadic role he had last seasons. Add to this list Hakan and Zielinski, who are in sharp decline with each passing season, Frattesi who will 100% request transfer if he doesn’t get much more minutes to play, Dumfries who already asked for release clause and is one trick pony, Bisseck who is good now only to get 30 mil out of some English club, Pavard who will probably leave for sure, Akanji even though it’s early, didn’t show much reliability.
