Italian football manager and director Davide Mancone argues that Inter Milan should launch a major rebuild proccess, as the current cycle has passed its expiry date.
The Nerazzurri won two Serie A titles in the past four campaigns, in addition to two Coppa Italia trophies and three Italian Super Cups.
They also reached the final of the Champions League on two occasions, before falling short in the last hurdle.
Inter’s latest UCL final appearance ended in traumatic fashion. Simone Inzaghi’s men suffered a surreal 0-5 defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in Istanbul.
This result sent shockwaves all over the world, and left many sports betting enthusiats disgruntled. But while football is synanymous with unpredicable results, non gamstop casinos arguably offers it client the opportunity to enjoy their free time while gaining money in a less chaotic environment.
Speaking of chaos, there has been growing concerns among Inter supporters over a potential calamitous scenario at the club.
Several key players at the club are well past 30, especially at the back. And yet, the club’s management hasn’t shown enough urgency to replace them
According to Mancone, who currently serves as Pol. Gaeta’s technical director, the Nerazzurri are in a dire need of a squad rebuild.
The 47-year-old insists that the old cycle is all but over, so it’s now time to usher in a new era.
“Will Inter challeng Napoli for the Serie A title? No, I think the team is still stuck with the defeat in the Champions League final,” said Mancone in his interview with Maracana via TuttoMercatoWeb.
“The cycle is over and we need to rebuild the team.”
Davide Mancone Believes The Current Inter Milan Is Over
The director was also asked about the most three influential managers in Serie A. He named Napoli’s Antonio Conte, Lazio’s Maurizio Sarri and AC Milan’s Max Allegri, while snubbing Inter Milan’s Cristian Chivu among others.
“Conte is the guarantee, and I’m putting him in third place only because it’s obvious. I’ll still put Sarri in second place despite his difficulties; we’ll see what happens.
“I’ll put Allegri in first place for the pragmatic approach he’s bringing to Milan.”
Inter began their campaign by registering two wins and as many defeats in their first four Serie A fixtures.
While they still have a lot of time to make up for their false start, Napoli are already flying with a perfect 12/12 record.
