Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Federico Dimarco have felt the biggest impact since Cristian Chivu took charge of Inter Milan.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, Chivu’s appointment has vastly affected the two Nerazzurri stalwarts.
Cristian Chivu took charge of Inter Milan in June after the club severed ties with Simone Inzaghi.
However, despite the coaching change, the San Siro giants didn’t part ways with any of their long-serving first-team stars.
Mkhitaryan & Dimarco Most Affected by Inter Milan Managerial Shift

Federico Dimarco has nailed down a starting berth as his own. However, under Inzaghi, he often came off around the hour mark.
Meanwhile, Chivu’s arrival has changed that, as the new boss regularly keeps him on for at least 80 miuntes.
On the other hand, Mkhitaryan’s influence has dwindled.
Indeed, the Armenian veteran has tumbled down the pecking order this season, with newcomer Petar Sucic taking his place.
Mkhitaryan was one of Inzaghi’s most trusted midfielders.
Yet, he has become a bit-part player in Chivu’s system, with Hakan Calhanoglu, Nicolo Barella, and Sucic all preferred over him.

Micky is the lubricant and the mastermind of Inter. He plays with intelligence and vision. Just look at the results when he’s on the pitch compared to when he’s off — the difference is undeniable. The team simply drops a level the moment he leaves, no matter the scoreline!
100000 % agree
The fact of the matter is if Sucic and others like Frattesi or Diouf aren’t used they will not develop while Mikhi is on his way to retire. Chivu system rely on goals more than Inzaghi sometimes that Mikhi seemed to have forgotten a long time ago. Other midfield needs to start understanding the other aspect of team balance like defending which can only happen if they play regularly. But I agree Chivu at least use other players but Inzaghi would just never trust them.
What actually happening is that Chivu is giving Miki proper rest. The guy is almost 37 but can be useful if not ran to the ground and overused like in previous seasons
Agree 100 %. Chivi safes him for a more stronger opponets and critical games
I like Suci, but Mhiki (in his 37 !?) still twice more usefull…on both ends in the field.
