Argentine star Lautaro Martinez will not return to Inter Milan next Tuesday as initially expected due to a change in the international calendar.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the postponement of Argentina’s friendly against Puerto Rico will delay El Toro’s return.
Argentina and Puerto Rico were supposed to meet on Tuesday. Yet, ongoing unrest in the United States has prompted a rescheduling.
Instead of facing off in Chicago on Tuesday, the two teams will lock horns in Miami the following day.
Lautaro Martinez to Return to Inter Milan from International Break Late

Lautaro Martinez will return to Appiano Gentile by Wednesday night to join training on Thursday.
However, fatigue could be an issue, with Inter taking on Roma on Saturday.
Therefore, the 28-year-old will have less time to rest and recover.
Injuries curtailed Lautaro’s momentum last season, so it’s no wonder Inter fear overexertion could impact his form.
Meanwhile, head coach Cristian Chivu has already lost star striker Marcus Thuram to injury against Slavia Prague.
Therefore, Inter can ill-afford to lose another key component of their frontline.

Hope he gets a good sleep on the bench
pointless friendlies, smh..
